Jesus said that God only
SEEKS people who worship in the NEW PLACE of the human spirit as it
is devoted to TRUTH which is Spirit and Life. Paul said that the
converted Jews worshipped God IN THE SPIRIT. The reason he gave was
that if you try to worship in rituals or works of human hands you
OPEN the process for Judaizers and DOGS. ALL ancient scholars used to
prove that a SPIRIT can be worshipped with MUSIC are related to
homosexual musicians--often emasculated--to be USED in the worship of
homosexual gods or goddesses. You can skip the rest if you
understand that what Zoe is promoting and which deliberately sows
discord, is outlawed by Paul for the "school of the Bible" in Romans 15
after silencing these same 'diversities' in Romans 14. The Latin reads:

Both eos and zoe apply both to light and life. Eos and Zoe are both identified as th mother or sister or even lucifer herself:

kithar-is ,means chraismêi (to ward off) and with aoidê. Kitharists were known to perform the "pretend" task of sorcery and were therefore parasites.
Odes are not to be sung audibly but "in the heart" because they are spells or incantation.
As applied to the common mother of the human race, the name Astarte is singularly appropriate; for, as she was Idaia mater, "The mother of knowledge," the question is, "How did she come by that knowledge?" To this the answer can only be: "by the fatal investigations she made."
It was a tremendous experiment she made, when, in opposition to the Divine command, and in spite of the threatened penalty,
she ventured to "search" into that forbidden knowledge which her Maker in his goodness had kept from her.
Thus she took the lead in that unhappy course of which the Scripture speaks--"God made man upright, but they have SOUGHT out many inventions" (Eccl 7:29).
Now Semiramis, deified as the Dove, was Astarte in the most gracious and benignant form. Lucius Ampelius calls her "the goddess benignant and merciful to me" (bringing them) "to a good and happy life." In reference to this benignity of her character, both the titles, Aphrodite and Mylitta, are evidently attributed to her. The first I have elsewhere explained as "The wrath-subduer," and the second is in exact accordance with it. Mylitta, or, as it is in Greek, Mulitta, signifies "The Mediatrix." The Hebrew Melitz, which in Chaldee becomes Melitt, is evidently used in Job 33:23, in the sense of a Mediator; "the messenger, the interpreter" (Melitz), who is "gracious" to a man, and saith, "Deliver from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom," being really "The Messenger, the MEDIATOR." Parkhurst takes the word in this sense, and derives it from "Mltz," "to be sweet."
Now, the feminine of Melitz is Melitza, from which comes Melissa, a "bee" (the sweetener, or producer of sweetness), and Melissa, a common name of the priestesses of Cybele, and as we may infer of
Cybele, as Astarte, or Queen of Heaven, herself; for, after Porphyry, has stated that "the ancients called the priestesses of Demeter, Melissae," he adds, that they also "called the Moon Melissa." We have evidence, further, that goes far to identify this title as a title of Semiramis. Melissa or Melitta (APPOLODORUS)--for the name is given in both ways--is said to have been the mother of Phoroneus, the first that reigned, in whose days the dispersion of mankind occurred, divisions having come in among them, whereas before, all had been in harmony and spoke one language (Hyginus).
There is no other to whom this can be applied but Nimrod; and as Nimrod came to be worshipped as Nin, the son of his own wife, the identification is exact.
Katein means to bring down or to go down to the grave. Dusin means the setting or hiding place of the sun. Musae

And the voice of harpers, and musicians (Muses), and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee; Rev 18:22
The craftsman is the Greek Techne: they include stage directors and house or theater builders. The "grinders" in Hebrew speak of the concubines or prostitutes.
Musae (Mousai). In Greek mythology the Muses were originally the nymphs of springs, whose waters gave inspiration, such as Hippocrené, Castalia, etc.; then goddesses of song in genera. They are all female and are considered goddesses dwelling in Olympus, who at the meals of the gods sing sweetly to the lyre of Apollo. They are the nine daughters of Zeus. [Apollo is at times the sun god or Saturn. Saturn's Chaldee (sounding brass, astrology) number is 666.
(1) Callio(pé (she of the fair voice), in Hesiod the noblest of all, the Muse of epic song; among her attributes are a wax tablet and a pencil.
(2) Clio (she that extols), the Muse of history; with a scroll.
(3) Euterpé (she that gladdens), the Muse of lyric song; with the double flute.
(4) Thali-a (she that flourishes), the Muse of comedy and bucolic poetry; with the comic mask, the ivy wreath, and the shepherd's staff.
(5) Melpomené (she that sings), the Muse of tragedy; with tragic mask, ivy wreath, and occasionally with attributes of individual heroes-- e. g. the club, the sword. [p. 1061]
(6) Terpsichoré (she that rejoices in the dance), the Muse of dancing; with the lyre.
(7) Erato (the lovely one), the Muse of erotic poetry; with a smaller lyre.

(9) Urania (the heavenly), the Muse of astronomy; with the celestial globe.> Zoe has the same meaning as Eos . The word ZOE in gnosticism is the mother-sister of "jehovah" and superior to Logos or Jesus Christ. She is the SHINING ONE and also the giver of life. The word for life is ZOE.

In the Babylonian myths, Inanna (Aster) got the father patron god of music drunk and stole the ME or magical incantations. With this she acquired the power of the elder, going through the gates of hell, musical worship and homosexual practices. She specialized in tearing down temples.

The etymology of the Hebrew word "Eve" has been interpreted in various ways, including "first woman," "mothers of all living things" or, even "serpent" -- thus associating her with the concept that all life originated in a primeval serpent. Zoe is guide, instructor, savior, illuminator, mediator, serpent, beast.
Conflict often occurs between sibblings: Cain and Able, Jacob and Esau, etc.
LUCIFER pretends to be the Morning Star in competition with Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, legend makes Lucifer (female) the twin of the Word or Jesus.
Gnosticism which is built on ancient Babylonian legends identifies Lucifer as Zoe or Eve in the Greek Version (LXX). In this scheme, Mary is the mother of the gods and therefore superior to Jesus the Son. Zoe is Life with a superior female brain. Little "logos" or Jesus Christ comes without brains supplied. Therefore, Zoe is the "female instructing principle" and therefore superior to Christ.

........... Eve of Life (Eve-Zoe), namely, the female instructor of life."Her offspring is the creature that is lord.
........... Afterwards, the authorities called it "Beast", so that it might lead astray their modeled creatures.No doubt that modern models are sincere but no musical team would name themselves the Jezebel Team in light of the common association between music and ignoring the Word of God.
Hippolytus: The Worship of The Mother of the Gods--Serpent Worship
They rashly assume in this manner, that
whatsoever things have been said and done by all men,
(may be made to harmonize) with their own particular mental view,

Whence likewise they assert, that those exhibiting themselves in theatres,
........... not even these say or do anything without premeditation.Therefore, he says, when, on the people assembling in the theatres,
any one enters clad in a remarkable robe, carrying a harp and playing a tune (upon it, accompanying it) with a song of the great mysteries,
........... he speaks as follows, not knowing what he says:"Whether (thou art) the race of Saturn (Satans) or happy Jupiter, or mighty Rhea (ZOE), Hail, Attis, gloomy mutilation of Rhea. Assyrians style thee thrice-longed-for Adonis,

Greeks denominate (thee) Wisdom (Sophia); Samothracians, venerable Adam; Haemonians, Corybas; and them Phrygians (name thee) at one time Papa, at another time Corpse, or God, or Fruitless, or Aipolos, or green Ear of Corn that has been reaped, or whom the very fertile Amygdalus produced-a man, a musician."
This, he says, is multiform Attis, whom while they celebrate in a hymn, they utter these words:
"I will hymn Attis, son of Rhea, not with the buzzing sounds of trumpets, or of Idaean pipers, which accord with (the voices of) the Curetes;
but I will mingle (my song) with Apollo's music of harps, evoe, evan, ' inasmuch as thou art Pan, as thou art Bacchus, as thou art shepherd of brilliant stars."
Apollo is Apollyon or Abbadon. He organized an early seeker center.
On account of these and such like reasons,
these constantly attend the mysteries called those of the "Great Mother,"
supposing especially that they behold by means of the ceremonies performed there the entire mystery. [Moved into the presence of the gods with music]
For these have nothing more than the ceremonies that are performed there, except that they are not emasculated:
they merely complete the work of the emasculated.For with the utmost severity and vigilance they enjoin (on their votaries) to abstain, as if they were emasculated, from intercourse with a woman. The rest, however, of the proceeding (observed in these mysteries), as we have declared at some length, (they follow) just as (if they were) emasculated persons.
And they do not worship any other object but Naas, (from thence) being styled Naasseni.
But Naas is the serpent (ZOE) from whom, i.e., from the word Naas, (the Naassene) says, are all that under heaven are denominated temples (Naos).
And (he states) that to him alone-that is, Naas-is dedicated every shrine and every initiatory rite, and every mystery; and, in general,that a religious ceremony could not be discovered under heaven,
in which a temple (Naos) has no existence; and in the temple itself is Naas, from whom it has received its denomination of temple (Naos).
The Serpent, musical instruments and speaking in tongues are all related.

Click to see Rubel Shelly repudiate the none use of instrumental music in worship. This, of course, is the step required before the use of musical worship teams could be presumed to have mediating power between God and the worshiper.
While Dr. Shelly proposes to preach only a "core gospel" he not only repudiates any presumed authority for not using instruments, he goes further and demands that musical instruments are the gift of God. At the same time, he declares on the side of A Capella for the "plenary" sessions of the church but allows them for other "non-worship" rituals. However, history does not support the "now we are worshiping, now we are not" idea.
And at the Restoration Forum at Abilene Christian University (ACU), Dr. Shelly has already established a foundation hostile to the purely A Capella view -- if those who hold it also claim some authority -- by repudiating those who resist full fellowship with instrumental groups.
We do not assign guilt by association. However, it is all to easy to adopt some cute title for a "team" whose motives may be pure, but whose historical background is lacking. This creates confusion and rejection of the new team. For instance, the word ZOE may indicate some form of LIFE but no team is able to bestow life. Jesus said: "My words are spirit and life" (John 6:63). In a historical sense ZOE and SOPHIA are the life and wisdom which replaces Christ in the system of Gnosticism -- that is to say, "Paganism." This is the realization of the rule of the female gods and goddesses to replace the "dead" masculine God principle.
It is clear, however, that all of the commercial 'worship renewal' efforts make the claim that they can teach you the Christian use of pagan praise, dance, drama and music to "move you into the presence of God."
Here is how Mother Godess or Serpent Worship came about:
Now the production of the instructor came about as follows. When Sophia let fall a droplet of light, it flowed onto the water, and immediately a human being appeared, being androgynous.
That droplet she molded first as a female body.
Afterwards, using the body she molded it in the likeness of the mother, which had appeared. And he finished it in twelve months.
An androgynous human being was produced, whom the Greeks call Hermaphrodites; and whose mother the Hebrews call
Eve of Life (Eve-Zoe), namely, the female instructor of life.
Her offspring is the creature that is lord.
Afterwards, the authorities called it "Beast", so that it might lead astray their modelled creatures.
The interpretation of "the beast" is "the instructor". For it was found to be the wisest of all beings.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Rev 2:7
To eat of this TREE one eats of the Spiritual Word of God. However, of those MARKED by the Babylon Harlot:
And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. Rev 18:14
As we see Apollo or Abaddon or Apollyon releasing the LOCUSTS to separate those with different MARKS the promise is that the MUSES which were the TEAM of Apollo will be silenced:

The Book of Enoch quoted by Jude says that 'God will come with ten-thousand saints to execute judgment" upon those who deliberately take away the key to knowledge.
The sins listed by Enoch were:
Rejecting the "Faith delivered to the Saints" as complete.
Satan teaching Genun (Jubal) how to take away truth with instrumental music and mixed-sex choirs.
And taking the lives of little babies -- abortionThere is no debate over the fact that Jude refers to the "roving planets" who were agents of Satan or Lucifer (gender-variant but primarily female). The primary weapon of Lucifer was musical instruments (King of Tyre, King of Babylon and the end-time Babylonian whore religion).
By reading Enoch and a half dozen other versions we know that "there was no other belief" but that Satan taught Genun (Jubal) how to deceive the holy people of God. The eminent scholar Noel Friedman agrees as does all known written opinion from Babylonian tablets, to the Bible to the church fathers and beyond. Consistent with this last evidence, it comes as no surprize that when one has been MARKED by music it is not possible to ever hear the voice of God again.
"Sincerity" and a dollar will buy you a cup of coffee. Sincerity is totally valueless in determining whether legalistic, works-oriented efforts like musical worship or "praise to move you into the presence of God" is either productive or Scriptural. Most literate people clearly understand that music tickles or molests every nerve ending in the body and feels "spiritual" only because it rubs those nerve endings raw and the God-supplied brain rushes a morphine-like drug to heal the pain and give you a "drug high."
The danger of lifting names and concepts is that other groups are not so harmless and rather than promoting the unity for which Christ prayed and died, people are driven further away from one another.
For instance, the "men's movement" makes its appeal through the phallic religion of ancient paganism and modern phylosophy and everyone gets aroused and falls into line:

select, elite group of spiritual initiates that would lead the rest of society to redemption [Jubilee was always connected to redemption and atonement].
Jung was influenced by Eugen Diederichs who "called for just such a spiritual aristocracy to lead" post-war Germany. (p. 87)
Diederichs also, believed that "being truly religious means being irrational" and that his calling as a publisher was to "push the irrationalist character of religion into the foreground" and assist in creating "a new mythos" or "mystique" (paradigm) for the spiritual reawakening of the Germanic peoples."

"patients would not only heroically suffer psychological crucifixions and heal themselves,
but afterwards they could redeem society as well by becoming initiates of this new secret wisdom of the ages...
In a section on "Individuation and Collectivity"... Jung proposes linking individual spiritual development with the fate of humankind, using such statements as,
"The individual is obliged by the collective demands to purchase his individuation at the cost of equivalent work for the benefit of society." (p. 232)
Noll concludes, informing movements to "move you into the presence of God" through song, music and dance:
"Through the techniques Jung taught his patients, which he expected them to practice well after therapy was over,
they could access the religious wisdom of the ages. If they survived the initial ordeal without permanent damage,
they could announce these insights from the ancestors and apply them to the rest of society,
........... thereby redeeming humanity by leading it to a spiritual awakening.As these initiates, the elite corps of the individuated, can receive information directly from the collective unconscious (the land of the ancestors or the dead),
they have the advantage and, indeed, the obligation, to proselytize this new doctrine for the benefit of society. (The Jung Cult: Origins of a Charismatic Movement by Richard Noll (Princeton University Press, 1994, p. 232-233)
In the Experiencing God program people are led to believe that they can, as did Jesus, get their own direct "assignment" for their time and place.
As the Willow Creek model hopes to convert the world by having them look to the lives and performance talent of musical worship teams as examples. Performance "worship" and preaching actually believes that as "God's Demo-Model" they can convert the world. We remember a preacher terribly dissapointed because the style and content of the sermon should have made some converts. Therefore, there must be something wrong with the "human material."
Ecumenical breaking down of the walls is also vital:
"The Spirit of almighty God will unite Christians of every race into a holy nation, filling our hearts with the compassion of Jesus Christ and shaping our character to reflect His royal majesty.
Our united movement of true brotherhood will manifest the love of God for those who are lost,
and a great harvest of souls will be gathered before the throne of God by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen! Let's join our hearts together in the Holy Spirit and cry to heaven: "Shine, Jesus, shine!" (Hippo, p. 128) [emphasis ours]
Shelly - Harris quote Hans Kung's view of the "now but not yet" kingdom. It is significant that others feel the need for Christ when He said that He would return as the "another Comforter" (John 14:16-18) as head of His Church, His Kingdom which is spiritual and not discerned by human seekers. Others agree and say:
"The Second Coming of Christ, therefore, is through the Church, not Jesus returning in the flesh; we should not wait for Him to return in order to set the world in order,
but we are to take His authority over the world and the spiritual realm now. This concept reduces Jesus to just one part of a greater whole. (Dager, p. 148)
Lynn Anderson at Jubilee 99 will tell you how to lift up the name of the Lord and perhaps that many of the initiates in the Jungian Change Agentry (JCA) have not survived the initial ordeal without permanent damage. We hear from many of them. The Andersonian method is to drive the initiates close to the edge or the brink but know when to stop the stress. Bob and weave and back off: "You know that he is not serious, don't you?" Then when the restless natives have settled back into place and lost the momentum, hit them again and drive them a bit closer to the edge. Keep this up until they are comfortable doing something they don't want to do. Some churches call them worship facilitators.
Jesus, through the gospel (everything He taught), upset the equilibrium in a counter-religious teaching which fired the clergy who "took away the key to knowledge." However, modern education has discovered the break them and remake them techniques and has made a huge "cottage" industry out of selling seminars, books and tapes on applying counter-Jesus techniques to the modern church. Thousands of "Jubilee-like" movements have sprouted like poison ivy to reshape us in the image of the shaper.
The methods described below involving the new age movement from sincere believers to the promotion of witchcraft all seem to use the same methods. The most ancient superstition is the belief that certain people can through praise lead you into the presence of God.
LaMar Boschman serves on the advisory board of the North American Summit on the Future of Worship with Robert Webber. He has been an instructor at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.

Yet is that what the Bible says? That 'God's presence' will be manifested while singing and playing praise music and unlock a doorway to the spiritual realm? No Scriptures indicate this occurs. And the Bible needs to be our authority in spiritual matters. Not the music or words of men.
Because there is not a hint of the idea of praise as a witch-like effort to ride the worship broom into "God's presence" we should see this is a warning which can be heard by anyone who has not been MARKED by musical superstition.
"The role of 'praise and worship' music according to those who are involved with it is to bring people 'into the 'presence of God'. Religious ecstasy as seen in 'Toronto Blessing' or at Brownsville with the characteristic weeping and laughing, and being 'slain in the spririt' is defined as the 'anointing of the presence of God.'
"The extract from an article published in 1987 quotes John Wimber, founder of the Vineyard churches and his wife Carol who also instrumental in their founding in 1977. The Vineyard church at Toronto Airport gives its name to Toronto Blessing, Bill McCartney founder of Promise Keepers is a member of a Vineyard fellowship as are others on the Board of the organization.
After she had a dream in 1976 of standing preaching to a large crowd a seven-point sermon on the gifts of the Spirit, at the final point, 'a sensation like hot electricity' hit her head, travelled down her body, then up and out of her mouth. She awakened speaking in tongues. The sensation of heat and electricity is typical of that experienced in the current revival. She said 'Soon God stopped showing me what he had wanted to do in the past and began to show me what he was going to do in the future. I had a strong sense of God's desire for his bride, for the whole Church - Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox.' (Riding the Third Wave - 1987)
In the article "Worship: Intimacy With God the philosophy behind the 'praise and worship' found in the Vineyard churches it is explained that there is a 'well-thought out philosophy' guiding how God is worshipped through music and movement in order to achieve the goal through "Worship: Intimacy With God" .
"To understand how we worship God, it is helpful to learn about our fellowship's history, which goes back to 1977. At that time my wife, Carol, was leading a small group of people in a home meeting that evolved into the Anaheim Vineyard. I'll let her describe what happened during that time.

"About that time we realised our worship blessed God, that it was for God alone and not just a vehicle of preparation for the pastor's sermon. This was an exciting revelation. Because the word worship means literally to bow down, it is important that our bodies are involved in what our spirits are saying. He visits his people with manifestations of the Holy Spirit. The fifth phase is called "Generosity "The fifth phase of worship is the giving of substance. The church knows so little about giving, yet the Bible exhorts us to give to God. it is pathetic to see people preparing for ministry who don't know how to give. That is like an athlete entering a race, yet he doesn't know how to run. If we haven't learned to give money, we haven't learned anything... " From Source

Rajneeshru is referred to as being 'drunk on the divine,' and encourages his followers to come and 'drink' from him.
His spiritual 'wine' was often passed along with a single touch to the head. Rodney Howard Browne who has passed the holy laughter on to others calls himself a Holy Ghost bartender dispensing the new wine."

Of course, as usual, David is misused to justify catchy buzz-terms. When the Psalmist made this statement, he was looking to God and not to the team or worship experience. He said:
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. Psalm 121:1
My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:2
End-time religion will be a mixture of religion and commerce with musical worship as the key "change agent."
In Greek it is the human or animal life or life in general. It addresses the life-principle or flesh and not the spirit or mind of mankind.
However, the ZOE concept is identical to the urge for female dominance. Some Zoe "prophetesses" muse whether they should have an all female church!
This was the theme in ancient and second incarnations of experential Gnosticism. For instance, in The Hypostasis of the Archons,
"This ruler, by being androgynous (both male-female, hermaphroditeic), made himself a vast realm, an extent without limit. And he contemplated creating offspring for himself, and created for himself seven offspring, androgynous just like their parent. And he said to his offspring, "It is I who am god of the entirety."

(Sophia-Zoe is very similar to Lucifer who is either female or gender-variant)
