Maury Hills [EX] Church of Christ, Columbia, Imposes Women2

The Abomination of Desolation: first defined as the instrumental-trinitarian worship at Mount Sinai.

Rev 10.12.17 Emails to the elders got me a warning and Russ helped DIVERT my investment with the "lord" which, if money is involved--always gets diverted.

Maury Hills Church or EX Maury Hills Church of Christ follows the Hidden Agenda which has managed to DIVERT all of the monies they claimed that I was giving and OWED to the Lord.  The first Russ Adcox agenda materialized after Promise Keepers 96 in Atlanta.

Jimmy Adcox: The Kairos Church Planting Plot: Kairos (Hermes-Mercury) is the Greek-Jewish Logos (regulative principle) as ANTI-CHRIST.  A New Day Conference tries to defeat ANOTHER DAY given for REST FROM the Clergy and religious observations beyond A School of the Word.

Breaking Away: "Much apostasy from religion is strongly related to conflicts with one's parents. Many of those who think they are breaking away from their church in the name of enlightenment and freedom actually are at least partially working out conflicts with their mother and father. The Golden Calf as Instrumental-Trinitarian Idolatry
This was a sin beyond redemption and nothing
in the Law of Moses or the Monarchy can be used without confessing to be turned over to worship the starry host.  Apollon-Abaddon is the ancient and modern SUN god and the personified SPIRIT and leader of all musical worship teams. The Muses aka Locusts were known as dirty prostitutes. Paul calls corrupting the Word as "selling learning at retail" the same word meaning adultery>

Ex. 32:26 Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said,

JUDE SAYS THAT THEY ARE FOREORDAINED TO DO IT AGAIN WHEN JUDE IS REPUDIATED

Jude 3  Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Jude 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jude 5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

After Israel fell into Instrumental-Trinitarian-Perverted Idolatry at Mount Sinai God abandoned the people back to Babylonianism and sentenced them to captivity and death. The FIRST Babylon Mother of Harlots is restored in Revelation 17.  She/he uses "lusted after fruits" (as in Amos 8) as speakers, singers, instrument players and grinders or prostitutes. A prostitute according to Paul corrupts the WORD or Regulative Principle by selling the FREE WATER OF THE WORD at retail but polluting it with personal opinions or self-exhibition.  John calls them sorcerers and promises that THEY WILL BE CAST ALIVE INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.

Musical Instruments to induce KOMA or make the lambs dumb before the slaughter are not the primary fatal sin but the MARK that Jesus has been there and will not pass by again as in Amos 8. Jesus removes the instruments, instrumentalists and the LAMPS or Seven Spirits which rested on Christ Alone.  BY HIS DRIVING PURPOSE He removes HIS NAME from the public confession so that it is not polluted.
Jude 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Moses wrote a 7 DAY PLAN: Jesus' News Creation is RESERVED UNTO FIRE.  The Two days of judgment have ended with the SOUNDS of God casting His enemies into hell to the sound of Wind, String and Percussion instruments: these are the instruments Lucifer the singing and harp-playing prostitute brought into the garden of Eden.

The BEAST or THERION is "A New Style of Music or Satyric Drama."
Aphrahat 4th century who introduced singing as an ACT

This is the faith of the Church of God. And (it is necessary) that a man should separate himself from the observance of hours and Sabbaths and moons and seasons, and divinations and sorceries and Chaldaean arts and magic, from fornication and from festive music, from vain doctrines, which are instruments of the Evil One, from the blandishment of honeyed words, from blasphemy and from adultery.

And that a man should not bear false witness, and that a man should not speak with double tongue. These then are the works of the faith which is based on the true Stone which is Christ, on Whom the whole building is reared up.

HERMES.KAIROS.SATYR: the Beast or Therion in Revelation is "A new  style of music or Satyric Drama.  That is the meaning of cappella.

Hermes.Kairos.Satyr.gif

(Vol. I) Diodorus Siculus  4 While he was in Ethiopia, their account continues, the Satyr people were brought to him, who, they say, have hair upon their loins. For Osiris was laughter-loving and fond of music and the dance; consequently he took with him a multitude of musicians, among whom were nine maidens who could sing and were trained in the other arts, these maidens being those who among the Greeks are called the Muses; and their leader (hegetes), as the account goes, was Apollo, who was for that reason also given the name Musegetes.

The Israelites brought this abomination with them from Egypt along with the Levites who were an old INFANT BURNING priesthood.  Anyone who claims that Jesus authorized anything beyond PREACHING the word by vocational elders READING the Word and who introduce "religious observations" (to which the kingdom does not come) are, as in Canaan, helping their youth into the LAKE OF FIRE reserved for SORCERERS who are speakers, singers, instrument players or anything beyond both MALE AND FEMALE being silent.

5 As for the Satyrs, they were taken along in the campaign because they were proficient in dancing and singing and every kind of relaxation and pastime; for Osiris was not warlike, nor did he have to organize pitched battles or engagements, since every people received him as a god because of his benefactions.   6 In Ethiopia he instructed the inhabitants in agriculture and founded some notable cities, and then left behind him men to govern the country and collect the tribute. ..... 9 It is for this reason that even to this day each group of priests supposes that Osiris lies buried in their district, pays honours to the animals which were originally consecrated to him, and, when these die, renews in the funeral rites for them the mourning for Osiris. 10 The consecration to Osiris, however, of the sacred bulls, which are given the names Apis and Mnevis, and worship of them as gods were introduced generally among all the Egyptians, 11 since these animals had, more than any others, rendered aid to those who discovered the fruit of the grain, in connection with both the sowing of the seed and with every agricultural labour from which mankind profits.

16 It was by Hermes [KAIROS], for instance, according to them, that the common language of mankind was first further articulated, and that many objects which were still nameless received an appellation, that the alphabet was invented, and that ordinances regarding the honours and offerings due to the gods were duly established; he was the first also to observe the orderly arrangement of the stars and the harmony of the musical sounds and their nature, to establish a wrestling school, and to give thought to the rhythmical movement of the human body and its proper development. He also made a lyre and gave it three strings, imitating the seasons of the year; for he adopted three tones, a high, a low, and a medium; the high from the summer, the low from the winter, and the medium from the spring. The Greeks also were taught by him how to expound (hermeneia) their thoughts, and it was for this reasonthat he was given the name Hermes. In a word, Osiris, taking him for his priestly scribe, communicated with him on every matter and used his counsel above that of all others. The olive tree also, they claim, was his discovery, not Athena's, as the Greeks say.

Hermes or Kairos is the god of traders, thieves and merchants.

ISAIAH 33 AND 1 CORINTHIANS 1 DENIES PODIUMS AND TAKERS OF SHEKALS IN THE CHURCH OF CHRIST.

Russ Adcox:  1) Why did you include the senior minister position with the elders? The reason I included this position as a restriction is because in many churches (including Maury Hills) the senior minister operates in a very similar capacity as an elder in that he provides authoritative teaching and oversees the affairs of the church. In our context, the elders have delegated a good deal of authority to me in regards to preaching/teaching, leading the staff, overseeing the daily operations/ministry of the church, having a vote in key decisions, etc.

A Church OF Christ is a SCHOOL of Christ from the Church of Christ (the Rock) in the wilderness. The NEW DAY is a day of REST or PAUO which like Sabbath stops everything but PREACHING the WORD by READING the WORD once each week needing no Hirelings.

Acts 15:21 For Moses of old time hath in every city
        them that PREACH him,
being READ in the synagogues every sabbath day.

Neither the synagogue (Paul's defining word) or the Civil ekklesia HAD any STAFF.  Paul gives those who PREACH the WORD the same right as a Levite when on duty IN the CARNAL temple for two weeks during the year which was a living OR A DAILY DOLE OF FOOD.  EVEN THEN they are defined by the Greek PARASITE.

Jesus "synagogued" with the Disciples two first days of the Week: He returned with the promise or ROLE as Holy Spirit on a first day of the week.
Plat. Laws 936c There shall be no beggar in our State; and if anyone attempts to beg, and to collect [synagogue] a livelihood by ceaseless [making Poieo meter, hymns] prayers, the market-stewards shall expel him from the market, and the Board of city-stewards from the city, and from any other district he shall be driven across the border by the country-stewards, to the end that the land may be wholly purged of such a creature. If a slave, male or female, do any injury to another man's goods,

Plato: And therefore when any one of these pantomimic gentlemen, who are so clever that they can imitate anything, comes to us, and makes a proposal to exhibit himself and his poetry,

we will fall down and worship him as a sweet and holy and wonderful being; but we must also inform him that in our State such as he are not permitted to exist; the law will not allow them. And so when we have anointed him with myrrh, and set a garland of wool upon his head, we shall send him away to another city. For we mean to employ for our souls' health  the rougher and severer poet or story-teller, who will imitate the style of the virtuous only, and will follow those models which we prescribed at first when we began the education of our soldiers
Parasites claim that their Musical Worship Band can lead you into the presence of God: That is the meaning of an ABOMINATION standing in their "holy" places. Rejoice and be glad.

The Spirit of Christ in Isaiah 30 shows that people are punished by their own errors: God cast His enemies into Hell to the sound of wind, string and percussion instruments. instruments.  Lucifer as the singing and harp-playing prostitute in the garden came equipped with Wind, String and Percussion instruments.

Lucifer plays the same role as Abaddon as the name of the cursed-levites "service." In the ON TIME (Kairos) he unleashes the LOCUSTS or MUSES as his worship team. They were known as dirty adulteresses and his SHEPHERDESS.

Behold (sayes shee) behold yoon same is he that doth disdeineUs women.
And with that same woord shee sent her lawnce amayne
At Orphyes singing mouth. The Lawnce armd round about with leaves,
Did hit him, and without a wound a marke behynd it leaves.
' Another threw a stone at him, which vanquisht with his sweete
And most melodius harmonye, fell humbly at his feete
As sorye for the furious act it purposed. But rash
And heady ryot out of frame all reason now did dash,
And frantik outrage reigned. Yit had the sweetenesse of his song
Appeasd all weapons, saving that the noyse now growing strong
With blowing shalmes, and beating drummes, and bedlem howling out,
And clapping hands on every syde by Bacchus drunken rout,
Did drowne the sownd of Orphyes harp. Then first of all stones were
Made ruddy with the prophets blood, and could not give him eare.
And first the flocke of Bacchus froes by violence brake the ring
Of Serpents, birds, and savage beastes that for to heere him sing
Sate gazing round about him there. And then with bluddy hands
They ran uppon the prophet who among them singing stands.

Is. 30:33 For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the Lord, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.

The pattern of Jesus was to stand up BEHIND the pulpit which held up the SCRIPTURES. He obeyed the universal command to PREACH by READING the Word and then decently and in order SAT DOWN.

Goats were substituted for burning Infants in 2 Chronicles 29 as the PATTERN for all musical idolaters. Cappella or the Goat singers are ANATHEMA: they are devoted to enhance a religious operation, cannot be redeemed and must be burned.  The JUBILEE concept was an effort to REDEEM the historical Church of Christ which never lied about theatrical-musical rituals as SELF-EXHIBITION
Verg. G. 2.386
For no offence but this to Bacchus bleeds
The goat [caper, auriga, capella ]
at every altar,
and old plays [ludi]
Upon the stage find entrance; therefore too
The sons of Theseus through the country-side—
Hamlet and crossway—set the prize of wit,

And on the smooth sward over oiled skins

Dance
in their tipsy frolic. Furthermore
The Ausonian swains, a race from Troy derived,
Make merry with rough rhymes and boisterous mirth,
Grim masks of hollowed bark assume, invoke
Thee with glad hymns, O Bacchus, and to thee
Hang puppet-faces on tall pines to swing.
Hence every vineyard teems with mellowing fruit,
Till hollow vale o'erflows, and gorge profound,
Where'er the god hath turned his comely head.
Therefore to Bacchus duly will we sing
Meet honour with ancestral hymns, and cates
And dishes bear him; and the doomed goat
Led by the horn shall at the altar stand,
Whose entrails rich on hazel-spits we'll roast.

The Mark of the Beast
is defined in Russ Adcox 3 sermons on imposing Musical Instruments AS worship at the Maury Hills Church.  Note that CHRIST has been demoted which is by the work of Jesus who, as in Amos 8, has been there and will not pass by again. Imposiing Machines for doing hard work mostly in making war and creating the shock and awe which is ALWAYS defined as Sorcery or Witchcraft.  THE "SPIRIT OF ABADDON OR APPLYON IS THE LEADERS OF THE MUSES." In Revelation they will be cast alive into the lake of fire and in the Greek literature they were known as dirty prostitutes.

When you say that God commanded or permitted something He did not, Christ in Jeremiah 23 calls it Blasphemy. This will have no effect on a Purpose Driven Churchh to suck in members of the Church of Christ and then announced a new agenda. Jesus doesn't pray for the WORLD or Kosmos

This has the same meaning as the Hebrew "praise" Word which really means "to make self vile" in the belief that God will not hurt mad or insane people. This is the same root as LUCIFER whom Christ called "the singing and harp-playing prostitute in the garden of Eden."

God had abandoned Israel over to worship the starry host because the musical idolatry repudiated the CREATOR of the Hosts. Jesus refused to pray for the WORLD or Kosmos which identifies the common Babylonian-derived idolatry.  Dionysus is Sabazius and therefore the Jew's worship was Sabazianism.  The Phythagoreans was one of the Sect in Rome which Paul in Romans 14 silences any of their "doubtful disputations" which were private opinions.  The DIET simply identified the particular sect in Rome which decent people found disgusting.

Soph. Ant. 955 Chorus
[955] And Dryas's son, the Edonian king swift to rage, was tamed in recompense for his frenzied insults, when, by the will of Dionysus, he was shut in a rocky prison. There the fierce and swelling force of his madness trickled away. [960] That man came to know the god whom in his frenzy he had provoked with mockeries. For he had sought to quell the god-inspired women and the Bacchanalian fire, [965] and he angered the Muses who love the flute.

"Speculation on number and proportion led to an intuitive feeling of the harmonia ("fitting together") of the kosmos ("the beautiful order of things"); and the application of the tetraktys to the theory of music revealed a hidden order in the range of sound. Pythagoras may have referred, vaguely, to the "music of the heavens," which he alone seemed able to hear; and later Pythagoreans seem to have assumed that the distances of the heavenly bodies from the Earth somehow correspond to musical intervals--a theory that, under the influence of Platonic conceptions, resulted in the famous idea of the "harmony of the spheres." AND GOD HIDES FROM THE WISE OR SOPHISTS

Plato Phaedrus:

SOCRATES: Upon my word, a delightful resting-place, with this tall, spreading plane, and a lovely shade from the high branches of the agnus: now that it's in full flower, it will make the place ever so fragrant. And what a lovely stream under the plane-tree, and how cool to the feet! Judging by the statuettes and images I should say it's consecrated to Achelous and some of the Nymphs.

And then too, isn't the freshness of the air most welcome and pleasant: and the shrill summery music of the cicada-choir! And as crowning delight the grass, thick enough on a gentle slope to rest your head on most comfortably. In fact, my dear Phaedrus, you have been the stranger's perfect guide.

The story may be supposed to allegorize the change of the fresh morning hours into the scorching noon that brings weariness and weakness with it.

The old Tithonus, 'turning again to childish treble, pipes and whistles in his sound,' so that his voice was compared to the noise of the cicala, the only creature heard in the heat of the day: compare 'sole sub ardenti resonant arbusta cicadis' Virg. Ecl.2. 13.LycophronVirg. Ecl., 941, follows Callimachus in giving Eos herself the name Titτ, which must be etymologically connected with Tithτnos.

Mousa = “Montia, Monsa”, from root “men”, ‘to think.’ In l. 10 the muse is called “thugater Dios”, as in Il. 2. 491 “Olumpiades Mousai, Dios aigiokhoio thugateres” . They are represented as nine in number in Od. 24. 607,

Pind. N. 4 When toils have been resolved, festivity is the best physician; and songs [aoidai], the skillful daughters of the Muses, soothe with their touch. And warm water does not wet the limbs so gently [5] as praise that accompanies the lyre [phormiggi Apollo's harp]. Speech lives longer than deeds; whatever words the tongue, with the favor of the Graces [ Kharitōn], draws from the deep mind. May it be mine to set forth such speech, in honor of Zeus the son of Cronus, and Nemea, [10] and Timasarchus' wrestling, as a prelude to my song.
The laws of song and the hurrying hours prevent me from telling a long story, [35] and I am drawn, by a magic charm on my heart, to touch on the new-moon festival.

Pind. O. 13 But the fame for every work is due to its inventor. Whence did the graces of Dionysus first come to light, with the ox-driving dithyramb? [20] Who invented the bridle for the harness of horses, or placed the double king of birds on top of the temples of gods? And in Corinth the sweet-breathing Muse blossoms, and also Ares, with the deadly spears of young men.
Paul silences the uncovered women prophesiers known in the literature as the Mad Women of Corinth.  They and rarely males believed that their musical performance forced the gods to reveal himself.

PHAEDRUS: Whereas you, my excellent friend, strike me as the oddest of men. Anyone would take you, as you say, for a stranger being shown the country by a guide instead of a native: never leaving town to cross the frontier nor even, I believe, so much as setting foot outside the walls.

SOCRATES: You must forgive me, dear friend; I'm a lover of learning, and trees and open country won't teach me anything, whereas men in the town do. Yet you seem to have discovered a recipe for getting me out. A hungry animal can be driven by dangling a carrot or a bit of green stuff in front of it: similarly if you proffer me volumes of speeches I don't doubt you can cart me all round Attica, and anywhere else you please. Anyhow, now that we've got here I propose for the time being to lie down, and you can choose whatever posture you think most convenient for reading, and proceed.

Phaedrus was a young associate of Socrates who also frequented the Sophist teachers--in fact he appears among their admiring audience in another Platonic dialogue, the Protagoras.

Love, in this case, as generally in Plato's dialogues (and especially in The Symposium), is not heterosexual love. Athenian upper-class culture encouraged erotic relationships between male adolescents and fully grown men; they were viewed as a sort of initiation for the younger partner, his entry into the adult male world under the tutelage of an older, but still young man. This was perhaps a not unsurprising product of an exclusively male culture that placed a heavy emphasis on athletic and military training and make companionship, a world from which women, at least respectable women, were excluded.

See Plato's Symposium which is the site of the "crooked race" and the "get drunk on wine" or getting "fluted down with wine.

People who see the ekklesia as A Worship Service as opposed to A School of Christ through the Word (LOGOS) are Purpose Driven to Intentionally silence the LOGOS who is the Regulative Principle.

Maury Hills Removes Christ from their Public Confession: T
he Purpose Driven Purpose is to build under the Name of Christ and then reveal the hidden agenda. This has been the pattern of the PATTERNISTS.  Russ Adcox is listed among the Progressive Churches of Christ and as a Complimentarian.  The Progressive Church of Christ (back to Babylon) is listed as a SECTARIAN split from the TRADITIONALISTS (Bible Teachers).  However, most of the misleaDrs come out of ACU where it is boasted that professors are CHANNELERS to train FACILITATORS (manipulators) to go out and REMOVE the old conservatives from their churchesWhen people boast about INFILTRATING and DIVERTING the church house of widows and the "investment" of honest workers and making it a Theater for Holy Entertainment" and having been victimized we take the LIBERTY to say that none of these men know or care about not being able to read BLACK text on BROWN paper: that is the mark of strong delusions which produces Lying Wonders which you can see on the Maury Hills Face Book.

This paper will grow and grow because a DISCIPLE OF CHRIST MINES the Words of Christ and the pagan counterpart to which he points. That means that I am writing for myself because all of history notes that Musical Idolatry is without redemption and without repentance. So, I will leave my discipship POSTED for those who say "you never mention Him and HIS Words to me."

Revised 6.20.13

As we prepare the future of Bible Lectures and Church Relations at Pepperdine, Mike Cope and I are committed to doing all we can to build a network around and supportive programs for these young preachers. Though they have freed themselves from sectarian constrains, many have chosen to stay with their churches. At least  for now. In the coming years, churches of Christ will need to respond, demonstrably, to the Restoration cry coming from this young generation and in so doing may restore their full role of influence in the unfolding Christian story.
That would just be fine but it is perfectly clear that these people know little and care less for the Biblical and Historical meaning of Church as "A School of Christ" being EDUCATED by the prophets and Apostles: CHRIST who defined the future church both inclusively and exclusively to EXCLUDE and radically condemn these false teachers who call Christ and most recorded history LIARS by the use of Secrtarian Restraints. A Sectarian is a heretic outlawed by Paul in Romans 15 as SELF-pleasure pointing to all of what Jesus quoting Ezekiel called the HYPOCRITES. A sectarian in Rick Gibson and Mike Cope's group IMPOSED instrumental music (noise says God) to create the 'laded burden' of 'mental excitement' in order to TAKE or CHOOSE other people's property for their OWN use.  They can not name a single NON-instrumental preacher who has or would ever deliberately INFILTRATE and DIVERT an instrumental church for their own purposes.  They call that Robbing Temples: sure beats purchasing your own.

The Biggest Lie is
the Drive led by the NACC to convince everyone that Churches of Christ SECTED out of the Christian Churches in 1906.  The Lipscomb Mantra is that the Campbells blundered by opposing the Disciples of Christ in several realms:
  1. The Name of the Church: The Church of God was purchased with HIS own blood and is therefore The Church of Christ
  2. Denominational organizations and Creeds.  Displacing the elders and vocational deacons with "ministers of whatever" to eat up the widow's living and SILENCE the masculine leadership.
  3. Becoming a disciple of Christ by THEIR faith-only
  4. An anti-Christian "liturgy" thinking to control their "gods."
  5. These are THREE gods as defined by the trinity of three separate beings.
  6. The role of Baptism as FOR the Remission of Sins
  7. Fellowship (attend, defend, support) most denominations.
  8. The imposing discordingly of of instrumental music which God condemns from Genesis to Revelation as the MARK of those who tell God to SHUT HIS FACE and know that they can manipulate people into letting their pockets be picked
  9. This is in the face that there is no LAW of tithing or LAW of "laying by in store" in the pastor's account.
  10. This is in the face that there is no command, example or remote inference of God violating His own pattern for the synagogue or school of His Word of being subjected to assemblying for "congregational singing with or without instruments. The EXAMPLE of musical idolatry happened at Mount Sinai which was idolatry without redemption.
  11. The role of women in "worship": both men and women are to be SILENT so that everyone can "come to a knowledge of the Truth." Paul asserted that under inspiration HE provided the TEACHING RESOURCE and the command was ALWAYS ot PREACH the Word by READING it for comfort and  doctrine. This was a mutual CONFESSION of Christ by reading and discussing HIS Word. Only the elders were commanded to "teach that which had been written" and utterly cast out those who opposed that singular PATTERN.  Refusing to mutually confess Christ in the public assembly means that Christ refuses to confess YOU before the lFather
  12. To claim Spiritual Formation by a hired hand expert in spiritual formation if modern witchcraft which teaches that one can mediate on a word or passage and God SPEAKS to the "beyond the sacred pages" to become modern day apostles and prophets (spelled profits).  This teaches that God now commands us to use OUR IMAGINATION to fill in what they claim are God's lapses or silences.
  13. The Apocalyptic view of the Millennium and a few more. This denies that Jesus as Messiah had the power to make the prophecies more certain and defeat Satan: not to worry because many or most are called or invited but FEW (tiny number) are chosen because they DILIGENTLY SEEK Him in His Word.
The sin beyond redemption is denying that God has the right to Command, Example and infere what HE wants to be TAUGHT which should silence those who need to DENY God's authority to IMPOSE that which the Word repudiates.

The LOGOS or WORD of God delivered by Jesus as the meaning of a SON repudiates all of the performing or hypocritic arts and crafts and SPECIFICIALLY meant the REGULATIVE PRINCIPLE which all false teachers hate.

This is what Rick Gibson and Mike Cope intend to hatch out:

Littleton Church and in fine print A Church of Christ. Boys and fat girls singing, lifting, instrumental music: hard Rock and roll, Drama that girly stuff. They have LEGACY WORSHIP which is the big lie that Churches of Christ are based on traditions

The  NACC 2013 Victorious lectureship uses the same BOOK OF REVELATION and some of the same speakers.  Since Richard Hughes now gets his data direct through Spiritual Formation (witchcraft) and others seem to deliberately violate the text (the holiness of sin a turn of the century thingy) it is predictable that the very passages they cover are exactly the ones promising to  cast alive into the lake of fire the Sorcerers--self-speakers, singers, instruments and craftsmen inluding ALL of the STAFF invasion.

In one relationship or another the Church, The body of Christ, the Kingdom of Christ is identified in the Bible and History as The Church of Christ.  That means the Church of God which He purchased with His own blood.  The modern public confession of Christ comes in different ways:
Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men,
him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men,
him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth:
I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father,
and the daughter against her mother,
and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.
God ordained Jesus to be both Lord and Christ to seek and save lost spirits. We are strangers and pilgrims as a tiny number among the masses of the WORLD.  Jesus does not PRAY for the World because the WORLD--identified by the Jewish clergy of Scribes and Pharisees, he called hypocrites: in the Ezekiel version of the Prophetic Type to MARK those to avoid Christ identifies self-speakers, singers and instrument players.  Jesus said that the Kingdom does not come with observation (religious observations) therefore the "business" cannot be a Church of Christ: a place to Rest, Read and Meditate on the Word (only) of Christ (only) which is the only meaning of "worship."

These will overcome the WORD and collect the masses with money but imposing of musical performance is always the mark of being judged and cast into the lake of fire.  Those who are NOT of the World will be able to hear the simple message of Jesus calling them out of the institution of apparent madness working really hard to collect the massed multitude (beasts)

The job of an evangelist of Christ covers as much ground as possible obeying the command "not to speak their own words" but to tell them that Jesus has arrived with REST FROM all of the symptoms of madness and oppression and stealing of widow's purse.  When the eunuch heard that Jesus was that herald calling people into a spiritual kingdom, the CORRECT response was to want to be baptized.  Russ Adcox denies that.

The hidden Agenda is always SLOW but Calculated before WE collect the Money. As equal to Christ and superior to the apostles, Russ Adcox dismisses Christ's PROPHETIC TYPE in Isaiah 57 as He defines the Future REST from Male and Female Burden Laders as Scribes and Pharisees: Ezekiel 33 defines them as hypocrites meaning self speakers (outlawed in Isaiah 58), singers and instrument players. They are the BEASTS from the garden of Eden to the Babylon Mother of harlots (Revelation 17) who controls "lusted after fruits" and uses them as speakers, singers and instrument players. John calls the sorcerers who HAD deceived the whole world and would be cast alive into the lake of fire.

Christ is REMOVED from the public confession and the identifier is just CHURCH: church is derived from Circe or Kirke who is the Mother of harlots (revelation 17) who uses lusted after fruits (Rev 18) as self-speakers, singers and instrument players: John calls them sorcerers and says they will-are to be cast alive into the lake of fire.  You can understand when you grasp that only CHRIST is the master or Authoritative Teacher.

The Spirit OF Christ (Epesians 4) did not clean a senior minister or singers: His AUTHORITY can only be recognized as from the elders as THE Pastor-Teachers.  Of course, elders are hand-picked who are NOT APT to teach.  The MARK of godly ELDERS instead of Unity in Diversity in Ephesians 4.

That is the CHRISTIAN method of Spiritual Formation.

You should rember that when God abandoned Israel because of musical idolatry the "god" included Apollo, Abaddon or Apollyon.  They worshipped the Starry host at the quarantined temple with singing and playing instruments which was called exorcism or sorcery and not the worship of Jehovah. Because the Spirit OF Christ had outlawed all of the performing arts when He came to give us Rest, He assuredly understood that the "gods" defined by Amos and Stephen were NOT Jehovah.

ANOTHER DEFINITION OF THE EKKLESIA BY PAUL

In Romans 15 the SELF-pleasure SILENCES all of the self-speak, singing, playing, drama or anything which creates "mental excitement." That is a PRELUDE to being able to "use one mind and one mouth to speak that which is written for our learning."  There many definitions of the ekklesia and NOT one of them have any EXTERNAL "vocal or instrumental rejoicing or rhetoric" because Christ the Rock outlawed them for the Church of Christ (the Rock) in the wilderness and no Jew was so vile as to ignore that until the year ad 1815.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. and the God of peace shall be with you. Phil 4:9 do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Col. 3:17 unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Eph 5:20

SO, THE FALSE TEACHERS MISSED THE PURPOSE DRIVEN PRAYER AND JUST KEEP SELF-SPEAKING

Scripture by word definition defines this as SORCERY or WITCHCRAFT which is the natural result of violating direct commands and the wisdom of all ages.  Jesus died to give us REST from this laded burden and burden laders and John said that they will be or are being Cast Alive into the Lake of Fire.

The history of ancient witchcraft of Sorcery from Clay Tablets onward shows that Jesus died to give us REST from that which all recorded history and MRI images prove to be destructive to the minds at any age.

1Timothy 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

Russ Adcox as Authoratative Teacher (Christ) says that this was based on CULTURE: if you watch the subverted "worship services" you concluded that the Post-Biblical theologians think that NOISE and MADNESS is NOW acceptable.  Now, the olden GOD wanted everyone--including Russ to sit down and be QUIET and lift holy PALMS to the Word and not WAVE arms which was the girls saying 'I am available."

Jesus prophesied and Paul affirms that EVERYONE must be Quiet and Peaceable and Honest because the Purpose of the Purpose Driven Church is:

1Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved,
        and to
come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists;
        and some, pastors and teachers;
Ephesians 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry,
for the edifying [educating] of the body of Christ:
Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith,
and of the knowledge of the Son of God,
        unto a perfect man,
unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
QUIETNESS commanded of the teachers:

1 Thess 4:6 That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.
1 Thess 4:11 And that ye study to be QUIET,
and to do your own business,
        and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
1 Thess 4:12 That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without,
and that ye may have lack of nothing.

2Corinthians 11:9 And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.

THAT is the PATTERN from the Church in the wilderness to a True Church of Christ as A School of the Word.

Rhetoric and music intends to Make the Lambs Dumb before the Slaughter. Now, speaking to MEN who do not lift up Holy Palms and women who speak on their own is to REPUDIATE and REMOVE anyone who claims that they are the mediator in song and sermon.  Musical Worship Teams claim that they can lead you into the presence of God.  However,

1Timothy 2:5 For there is ONE God,
and one mediator between God and men,
        the MAN Christ Jesus;

The Direct Command is to PREACH the Word of God (only) by READING The Word while everyone is QUIET and at rest: The The Purpose of a Church of Christ is to be a SAFE HOUSE (umbrellum) quarantined from what the PLANTATION RELIGIONS want to get paid to keep people FROM hearing the Word of God.

Luke 11:52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.

The Scribes and Pharisees (Plantation staff) were called HYPOCRITES: The Ezekiel 33 version to which Jesus pointed identifies Self-speakers (sons of the Devil says Jesus), singers and instrument players.

EVERYONE must be QUIET when the elders as pastor-teachers READS the Word for our COMFORT and DOCTRINE  The direct command to use "one mind and one mouth to teach that which is written for our learning and SPIRITUAL FORMATION" is the ONLY way to glorify or praise God.

Russ Adcox claims that he is the MASTER or Authoritative Teacher but he DID NOT die for the right to SILENCE everything not connected to MUTUAL CONFESSION of faith by SPEAKING that which is written: by refusing to so confess CHRIST one is marked as one whom the Son will not confess to the Father.

1Timothy 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Martu^r-eō , bear favourable witness to, give a good report of a person. estify to, acknowledge the value of his alliance,
Testĭmōnĭum , ii, n. testor, I. witness, evidence, attestation, testimony, testimonia recitare,

A Church of Christ is built upon or EDUCATED by the Prophets and Apostles.  Christ in the Prophets outlaws selling His Word, seeking your own pleasure or even speaking your own words: if YOU had any words to speak then Jesus died in vain.

Revelation 19:[10] I fell down before his feet to worship him. He said to me, "Look! Don't do it! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers who hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy."

1Timothy 2:7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

Ephesians 3:3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
Ephesians 3:4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
Ephesians 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men,
        as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
Ephesians 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body,
and partakers of his promise in Christ BY the gospel:

The Word of Christ or LOGOS is defined as the means of SPIRITUAL FORMATION.

The FEW receive A holy spirit and are washed with water INTO the Word or into the School of Christ

Ephesians 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory,
        to be strengthened with might by HIS Spirit in the inner man;

Which means in Paul's parallelism:

Ephesians 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith;
that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
Ephesians 3:18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
Ephesians 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge,
that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that worketh in us,
Ephesians 3:21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

The Church in one way or another is identified as the Church OF Christ: those who remove that public CONFESSION will be or have been denied by Christ.

PAUL HAS SAID THAT HE IS ORDAINED TO BE THE ONLY PREACHER OR TEACHER OF CHRIST

Ephesians 4:21 If so be that ye HAVE heard him, and BEEN been taught BY him, as the truth is IN Jesus:
Colossians 2:7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in THE FAITH as ye have been taught,
        abounding therein with thanksgiving.
2Thessalonians 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions
which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
In Ephesians 4 the Gift of the Spirit (Jesus) included the ELDERS as Pastor-Teachers: their task was to SILENCE or REMOVE all of the performance rhetoric, singing, playing or drama SO THAT the Ekklesia--Synagogue or School of Christ could take place.

The MARK of a true Elder (not a wolf) is that he has NOTHING at all to add to that which Jesus died to reveal:
Titus 1:9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

Titus 1 NOT Giving heed to JEWISH FABLES as necessary for the ELDERS-ONLY to Read or Teach that which is written:

Christ in Isaiah 50 defines the INFILTRATION of the rhetorical and musical bandits ASSAULTING Messiah.

In Isaiah 55 He commanded us NOT to pay for the Free Word which is equated to the Spirit OF God.
In Isaiah 57 He ordained the LAW OF SILENCE which includes about everyone
Isaiah 58 outlaws seeking our own pleasure (watching rhetoricians, singers, musicians) or even SPEAKING our own words.

1Timothy 2:8 I will therefore that MEN pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

Godly men did not WAVE ARMS as a sign of "I am available" but the extended their arms at the waist and turned up their palms: this was and IS among Jews and Muslims a sign of READING the Word.

Psalms 28:2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee,
when I lift up my HANDS toward thy holy oracle.
Psalms 63:4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my HANDS in thy name.

In the Synagogue the prayer was the the denial that God was A TRINITY
Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God [Elohim] is one LORD: [Jehovah]

Then they obeyed the Direct Command as the ONE PIECE PATTERN for the only Assembly for the godly.

Deuteronomy 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
Deuteronomy 6:6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
Deuteronomy 6:7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

That PATTERN never changed even as God gave new Revelation through the PROPHETS.  The not-commanded sacrificial system as the new PATTERN was abandoned by God and the godly were PROTECTED from the ungodly Civil - Military -- Clergy.

1 Timothy 2: Women always bring on WRATH or ORGE or ORGY.

Those Jesus identified as HYPOCRITES: rhetoricians, singers, instrument players were also warned about by Christ.  In recorded history and now it would be impossible for a group of mature males to concoct a WORSHIP OBSERVATION (to which the kingdom does not come) CENTERED around performance speaking always noted as the mark and cause of effeminism, singing TO the gods with or without instruments: recorded history always marked males singing and playing as "drunk, effeminate or just mocking having fun."

Let him be mute and stand aside from our sacred dances

Who never has seen and never has danced in the rites of the noble Muses
Nor ever has been inducted into the Bacchic mysteries of beef-eating Cratinus...

Or defiles Hecate's shrine, while singing dithyrambs,
Or any politician who bites off the pay of the poets

All these I warn, and twice I warn, and thrice I warn again,
stand aside from our mystical dances; but as for you: arouse the song
and the night-long dances, that belong to our festival here.

She then entreated and besought him to put an end to that matter in some way or other; and not to plunge himself into a situation, where he must first suffer, and afterwards commit, every thing that was abominable. Nor did she quit him until the young man gave her his promise to keep himself clear of those rites.

Gnostics believed that those who passed through initiation (as in the earlier Mysteries) and achieved Gnosis, had the right to interpret the message of Jesus in their own way.

In an introduction to the finds at Nag Hammadi, the distinguished Gnostic historian Elaine Pagels writes about Professor Gilles Quispel's dicovery of a complete text of the Gospel of Thomas

Others, also, are inspired when drinking water, like the priest of the Klarian Apollo at Kolophon; others when sitting over cavities in the earth,

like the women who deliver oracles at Delphi; others when affected by vapor from the water, like the prophetesses at Branchidζ; and others when standing in indented marks like those who have been filled from an imperceptible inflowing of the divine plerome.

In the Orphic Hymn to Rhea:

Now Rhea, as Ceres, in Hymn XIV, is called 'brass-sounding' and
'drum-beating'
. This has reference to the mystical results of certain sounds and rhythm, part and parcel of what the Hindus call Mantravidyβ.Music and Mantras, therefore, were used by the Orphics to attract, or call down, the influence of the Mother of the Gods, who at the same time was the 'Store-house of Life', of Divine Nature. Thus Proclus in his Commentary on Euclid (ii) tells us that 'the Pole of the World is called by the Pythagoreans the Seal of Rhea'

PUTTING ON OF APPAREL MEANS PUTTING ON CLERICAL GARB: That was a MARK Christ gave for the future kingdom.

Isaiah 3:15 What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the LORD GOD of hosts.
Isaiah 3:16 Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:
Isaiah 3:17 Therefore the LORD will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.
Isaiah 3:18 In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,

1Timothy 2:10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

1Timothy 2:11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

The Command for the Church in the Wilderness, the Approved Example of Jesus,  the practice and command Paul and the historic practice of The Church of Christ before SERMON and SONG writers invaded to take captive any gathered assembly.  That command was the PREACH the WORD by READING the Word for Comfort and Doctrine. Therefore, since Russ Adcox has invaded and became the Authoratitive Teacher (taking Chris't place) He can whine about evil Paul.

PAUL PRAYED THAT EVERYONE BE IN SILENCE, IN PEACE AND HONEST. Why is it that Russ Adcox gives himself the right to SPEAK where Scripture is SILENT and insists that the WOMEN do not have to LEARN in silence?

1Timothy 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach,
nor to usurp authority over the man,
        but to be in silence.

This utterly silences the women in a non-sedentary role which automatically projects "authentia" or sexual authority which is also murderous. If women are quite the OUTBREAK even in frontier awakenings--like Iraq devil worship--would not break out.

"One of the greatest of all Greek dramas, The Bacchae powerfully dramatizes the conflict between the emotional and rational sides of the human psyche.
When the people of Thebes deny the existence of the god Dionysos, he punishes them
by unleashing the full force of female sexuality,
thereby destroying social order and driving them to certain tragedy.

Russ Adcox says that HE suffers women to TEACH but NOT have authority.  But, that's not what Paul said nor does Russ want to admit that when a women performs in STANDING OVER or SPEAKING OUT in a liturgical sense she IS by definition exercising Authentia which is both "Erotic and Murderous." Lead us not into temptation.

authent-ria , h(, fem. of authentēs, A. = kuria, Keil-Premerstein Zweiter Bericht14

Russ Adcox may be the Kuria but he cannot give authority which HE does not have.

The form of "authority" outlawed by Paul in the "non-sedentary" role was and is sexual authority. It is not possible to have attractive and talented women standing between the "audience" and God claiming power to lead them into God's presence without insulting God and seducing men. See an example.

"Ephesus was famous for its shrine of Diana, where thousands of sacred prostitutes

believed fornication brought believers into contact with deity in much the same way the Gnostics used authentia (authority) to bind the flesh and the divine together. When these women converted to Christianity they had to unlearn these pagan practices. 'Virtually without exception,

female teachers among the Greeks were courtesans, such as Aspasia, who numbered Socrates and Pericles among her students. Active in every major school of philosophy, these hetairai made it evident in the course of their lectures that they were available afterwards for a second occupation.

But the Bible teaches that to seduce men in such a manner was indeed to lead them to slaughter and the halls of death (cf. Prov. 2:18; 5:5; 6:27; 9:18).

The verb authentein is thus peculiarly apt to describe both the erotic and murderous." (Trombley, Who Says Women Can't Teach, p. 177).

Quasten notes that: "Women's singing was a vital part of all pagan worship. In very early times women became priestly singers of the gods in the temple.

"Women and girls from the different ranks of society were proud to enter the service of the gods as singers and musicians. The understanding of this service was universal: these singers constituted the 'harem of the gods'."

The Egyptian Opis (Apis) and others which Israel worshipped at Mount Sinal were worshipped throughout the area. "In preference to all other hymns these choirs generally sang the so-called epiphany hymns, which were intended to invite the gods to appear. Plutarch wrote:

Why do the women of Elis call upon God in song to approach them with the bull's foot? Their song is the following:

Come, Dionysus, Hero,
into the holy temple of Elis,
together with the Graces [Grace = Chara or Charis = charismatic = homosexual)
come violently into the temple with the bull's foot!
Double Entendre
Then they sang twice at the end: "Sacred Bull!" (Johannes Quasten, Music & Worship
in Pagan and Christian Antiquity, p. 76)

Choirs of young girls often officiated and they wore garments of the dancers consecrated to the gods. (The ephod was a feminine apron)

"the testimonies of neighboring civilizations are of little value, as they concern chiefly the music of courts or temples, which in Sumer, Babylon, and Canaan was then in the hands of professional priests-musicians. We have only a few remarks of Herodotus about Egyptian practices, which were similar to those of ancient Hebrew popular singing. He refers to the 'lament for Linos,'

also to women's chants in procession of the cult of Osiris and the Diana of Bubastis. "In Phoenicia and Syria almost all popular music reflected the worship of Ishtar, the goddess of fertility.

Thus, popular song was usually a prelude to sexual orgies in honor of the goddess, led and organized by her thousands of hierodules." (Interpreter's Dict of the Bible, Music, p. 461).

The Propensity was for WOMEN to usurp authority (Remember Eve and Miriam?).  Therefore, the women should not usurp authority over the men. This does NOT mean that the MEN have authority beyond "teaching that which has been taught."

THE ABSOLUTE MEANING OF THE CENI OR REGULATIVE PRINCIPLE OR LOGOS:

1Peter 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God;
if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth:

to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

This was the musical idolatry of the Egyptian trinity: this was WITHOUT REDEMPTION. So, anyone who uses as authority that which happened when God abandoned Israel for what they call Instrumental Worship has blasphemed by saying that God did not address instruments and this is called Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit OF Christ.

The Feminist promote Mother Goddess Worship: Eve is Zoe who in the literature is called "The BEAST and female instructing principle.'

Eve is mentioned only twice in the New Testament and because Jesus spoke in parables to HIDE the truth from the WISE (sophists=rhetoricians, singers, musicians, actors).  Moses was writing an INVERTED version of Babylon Myths AFTER the nation fell from grace BECAUSE of instrumental idolatry at Mount Sinai.  Therefore, those who mock Paul do not understand that Paul knew all about Eve and scholars know nothing. While not necessarily true, Paul understood that women especially looked to EVE (Zoe, Mary) as THEIR Mediatrix.
The serpents, however, of the magicians-(that is,) the gods of destruction-withstood the power of Moses in Egypt, but the rod of Moses reduced them all to subjection and slew them. This universal serpent is, he says, the wise discourse of Eve. This, he says, is the mystery of Edem, this the river of Edem;
this the mark that was set upon Cain [from a musical note]
that any one who findeth him might not kill him. This, he says, is Cain, [Gen. iv. 15] whose sacrifice [Gen. iv. 5. ] the god of this world did not accept.
Theophilus to Autolycus

This Eve, on account of her having been in the beginning deceived by the serpent, and become the author of sin, the wicked demon, who also is called Satan, who then spoke to her through the serpent, and who works even to this day in those men that are possessed by him, invokes as Eve. And he is called "demon" and "dragon," on account of his revolting from God. For at first he was an angel. And concerning his history there is a great deal to be said; wherefore I at present omit the relation of it, for I have also given an account of him in another place.

Referring to the bacchanalian ORGIES [wrath] in which " Eva " was shouted, and which the Fathers professed to believe was an unintentional invocation of Eve, the authoress of all sin.

The word "abomination" is also key to understanding the context. In Hebrew, the word "to 'evah," (abomination) is almost invariably linked to idolatry. In the passages from which both verses are taken, God tells Moses to tell the people not to follow the idolatrous practices of the people around them, people who sacrificed their children to Molech, or who masturbated into the fire to offer their semen to Molech, for example. Chapter 20 starts off with the same warning.

"To 'evah" also means "something which is ritually unclean."

Hippolytus Book V - The Refutation of All Heresies - Satan Worship

They rashly assume in this manner, that  whatsoever things have been said and done by all men, (may be made to harmonize) with their own particular mental view, alleging that ALL things become spiritual. Whence likewise they assert, that those exhibiting themselves in theatres, not even these say or do anything without premeditation.

Therefore, he says, when, on the people assembling in the theatres, any one enters clad in a remarkable robe, carrying a harp and playing a tune (upon it, accompanying it) with a song of the great mysteries, he speaks as follows, not knowing what he says:
"Whether (thou art) the race of Saturn (Satans) or happy Jupiter, or mighty Rhea (ZOE, Eve), Hail, Attis, gloomy mutilation of Rhea. Assyrians style thee thrice-longed-for Adonis, and the whole of Egypt (calls thee) Osiris, celestial horn of the moon; [The bull, Apis, at Sinai] Greeks denominate (thee) Wisdom; Samothracians, venerable Adam; Haemonians, Corybas; and them Phrygians (name thee) at one time Papa, at another time Corpse, or God, or Fruitless, or Aipolos, or green Ear of Corn that has been reaped, or whom the very fertile Amygdalus produced-a man, a musician."
This, he says, is multiform Attis, whom while they celebrate in a hymn, they utter these words:
"I will hymn Attis, son of Rhea, not with the buzzing sounds of trumpets, or of Idaean pipers, which accord with (the voices of) the Curetes; but I will mingle (my song) with Apollo's music of harps, evoe, evan, ' inasmuch as thou art Pan, as thou art Bacchus, as thou art shepherd of brilliant stars."
On account of these and such like reasons, these constantly attend the mysteries called those of the "Great Mother,"supposing especially that they behold by means of the ceremonies performed there the entire mystery. [Moved into the presence of the gods with music]

For these have nothing more than the ceremonies that are performed there, except that they are not emasculated: they merely complete the work of the emasculated.

For with the utmost severity and vigilance they enjoin (on their votaries) to abstain, as if they were emasculated, from intercourse with a woman. The rest, however, of the proceeding (observed in these mysteries), as we have declared at some length, (they follow) just as (if they were) emasculated personsAnd they do not worship any other object but Naas, (from thence) being styled Naasseni.

But Naas is the serpent from whom, i.e., from the word Naas, (the Naassene) says, are all that under heaven are denominated temples (Naos).  And (he states) that to him alone-that is, Naas-is dedicated every shrine and every initiatory rite, and every mystery; and, in general,  that a religious ceremony could not be discovered under heaven, in which a temple (Naos) has no existence; and in the temple itself is Naas, from whom it has received its denomination of temple (Naos)

Hislop in Deification of the Child:

Zoe or Eve
or Capella gets the GLORY over Olenos (Adam) or Saturn, "the father of gods and men,"
but, in the progress of idolatry and apostacy, Rhea (Zoe), or Eve, came to get glory at Saturn's expense.
Saturn, or Adam, was represented as a morose divinity;
Rhea
, or Eve, exceedingly benignant; and, in her benignity, she presented to her husband a stone bound in swaddling bands, which he greedily devoured, and henceforth the children of the cannibal father were safe.

Lovely is the labor, o Phoebus, I carry out for you before your house, [130] honoring your prophetic shrine; glorious my labor, to be a slave for gods, not mortal but immortal; I do not tire [135] of laboring over my auspicious work. Phoebus is a father to me; I praise the one who feeds me; the name of father, beneficial to me, I give to [140] Phoebus who rules this temple. O Paean, O Paean, may you be fortunate, child of Leto!
