Leonard Allen POURED OUT: The Spirit of God Empowering the Mission of God

Leonard Allen: Jesus WORDS not INTELLIGIBLE without a Spirit God Person's help.

WE can say that there was a doube sending--two missions the mission of the Spirit AND the mission of the Son. [ p 107]

Jesus said that PARABLES were to hide the truth from the Jewish clergy.  The "spirit" words can never be a person but a figurative or parable word to define--for we mortals--how God the Father puts HIS WORDS directly into the MOUTH of Prophets and much later the MAN Jesus of Nazareth "Another prophet like Moses."
John 8:38 I SPEAK that which I have seen with my Father:
        and ye DO that which ye have seen with your father.
John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself;
        but the Father which SENT me,
        he gave me a commandment, what I should SAY, and what I should SPEAK.
John 12:50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting:
        whatsoever I SPEAK therefore, even as the Father SAID unto me, so I speak.

There is no INTERPRETER between God the Father and His Son, the MAN and PROPHET Jesus. Spirit which is used figuratively of BREATH is to instruct humans who know that breath is the invisible, inaudible carrier of speech.

AS PROMISED, JESUS IN HIS GLORIFIED, HOLY SPIRIT STATE, WOULD CONTINUE TO TEACH THE APOSTLES BUT NOT THEOLOGIANS

John 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying,
        If any man THIRST, let him COME UNTO ME AND DRINK
John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said,
        out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
John 7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit,
        which they that believe on him should receive:
        for the Holy Ghost was not yet given;
        BECAUSE that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

1 John 2 identifies the Comforter or Paraclete: His name is Jesus Christ the Righteous.  The Promise of the Holy Spirit was the Evangelistic Office of Jesus of Nazareth in His HOLY SPIRIT form meaning "without flesh and bones." Holy means blameless or consecrated and NEVER a first Name.

Those who are baptized receive A holy spirit when their sins are washed away.
John 15:26 But when the Comforter [parakletos] is come,
        whom I will SEND unto you from the Father, even the Spirit OF truth,  [Not another god]
        which proceedeth from the Father, he shall TESTIFY of ME:

WHAT IS HIS NAME?
1John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.
        And if any man sin, we have an advocate
[parakletos] with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
1John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

WHAT DOES HE TEACH?
1John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him [Jesus], if we keep HIS commandments.
1John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not HIS commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1John 2:5 But whoso keepeth HIS WORD, in him verily is the love of God perfected:
        hereby know we that we are IN HIM [Jesus].
1John 2:6 He that saith he abideth IN HIM ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
WHAT IS THE WORD ONCE FOR ALL DELIVERED TO THE SAINTS.

Leonard Allen: The very truth about Christ--that he is God in the Flesh, Son Saviour, and Messiah--becomes INTELLIGIBLE through the deep work of the Spirit.

Understand the first sentence first as the ARCHE or First Principle which few people can read.

John 1:1 In the beginning [Arche] was the Word, and the Word was WITH God, and the Word WAS God.

Word or Logos is what one SPEAKS or READS excluding rhetoric, singing, playing instruments or selling the free water of the Word. This verse clearly says that the WORD was what was with him in the same class as LIGHT or GRACE or MIND.

Theophilus to Autolycus the FIRST definition of TRIAS as INTERNAL to the one god the Father.

For he that is created is also needy;
        but he that is uncreated stands in need of nothing.
        God, then, having His own WORD INTERNAL within His own bowels,
        begat Him, EMMITING Him along with His own WISDOM before all things.

HE had this WORD as a HELPER  in the things that were created by Him,
        and by Him He made all things.
        He is called "governing principle" [Arche] because He rules,
        and is Lord of all things fashioned by Him.

HE, then, being Spirit of God, and GOVERNING principle, and WISDOM, and POWER of the highest,
        came down upon the prophets,
        and through them spoke of the creation of the world and of all other things.
For the prophets were not when the world came into existence,
        but the WISDOM of God which was IN HIM
        and His HOLY WORD which was always present with Him.

John 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.

When you move from READ or SPEAK to theology (the study of Apollon) it is easy to BLASPHEME.  Scholars CLAIM that God's Spirit (His) was not INTELLIGENT enough to say that JESUS was GOD in the beginning or "Most important message."

Depending on a collection of proof-texts is not the sign of a DISCIPLE.  John wrote after the beginning of the Synagogue of Satan including Greeks who said that Jesus was REALLY God in the flesh.  John along with Theophilus and Tertullian wrote to DEBUNK the folly.  Strong delusions will not permit you to hear John DEBUNK modern Judaizers.

IF YOU CANNOT GRASP THAT IT WAS GOD'S WORD AND NOT GOD WHO CAME IN THE FLESH JOHN WANTS YOU TO READ
John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses,
        but GRACE and TRUTH came by Jesus Christ.

John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time;
        the only begotten Son,
        WHICH is in the bosom of the Father, he hath DECLARED him.

GOD PUTS HIS WORDS INTO THE MOUTH OF PROPHETS AND JESUS

Deut. 18:18 I will raise them up a Prophet from AMONG THEIR BRETHREN
         like unto thee, and will put MY WORDS [Dabar-Logos] IN HIS MOUTH
         and he shall speak unto them all that I SHALL COMMAND HIM

JESUS WAS A JEWISH MAN JUST LIKE HIS BROTHERS.

Acts 3:22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers,
        A PROPHET shall the Lord your God raise up unto you OF YOUR BRETHREN
        like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
Acts 3:23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul,
        which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

The HOLY SPIRIT or "Pure Breath" was the SPIRIT OF JESUS.  SPIRIT PRODUCES WORDS OR INSTRUCTION.

Neh. 9:20 Thou gavest also thy good SPIRIT to INSTRUCT them,
        and withheldest not thy manna from their MOUTH, and gavest them water for their thirst.
Job 7:11 Therefore I will not refrain my MOUTH;
        I will SPEAK in the anguish of my SPIRIT;
        I will COMPLAIN in the bitterness of my SOUL.
Job 15:13 That thou turnest thy SPIRIT against God,
        and lettest such WORDS go out of thy MOUTH?

Without any help, God put's HIS Words into the MOUTH of Prophets and later Jesus of Nazareth.  Spirit can never be a person or god but is how God puts His MENTAL DISPOSITION into the MOUTH of a person.

Acts 16:6  And they went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia,
        having been forbidden of the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia;
Acts 16:7ASV, BBE, Douay and when they were come over against Mysia,
        they assayed to go into Bithynia; and the Spirit OF JESUS suffered them not;

Acts 16:9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night;
        There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him,
        saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.
Acts 16:10 And after he had SEEN the vision,
        Immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia,
        assuredly gathering that THE LORD had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

Acts 22:14 And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee,
        that thou shouldest know his will,
        and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the VOICE OF HIS MOUTH

Acts 26:14 And when we were all fallen to the earth,
        I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue,
        Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
Acts 26:15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.
Acts 26:16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet:
        for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose,
        to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen,
        and of those things in the which I WILL APPEAR UNTO THEE:

After His glorification Jesus was given the PROMISE of the Holy Spirit: JESUS OF NAZARETH was SEEN and HEARD as Holy Spirit meaning wiithout flesh an bones.

Leonard Allen: The very truth about Christ--that he is God in the Flesh,

Rom. 1:2 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
Rom. 1:3 Concerning his SON JESUS CHRIST Lord,
        which was made of the SEED of David according to the FLESH;

Thirty years Later God MADE Jesus to be both LORD AND CHRIST:

Rom. 1:4 And declared to be the SON OF GOD with power,
        according to the spirit of holiness,
        by the resurrection from the dead:

THAT CALLS PAUL A LIAR:

1Tim. 2:5 For there is ONE GOD
        and ONE MEDIATOR  between God and men,
        THE MAN JESUS CHRIST

1John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time:
        and as ye have heard that ANTICHRIST shall come,
        even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
1John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us;
        for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us:
        but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
1John 2:20 But ye have an unction from the HOLY ONE, and ye KNOW all things.
1John 2:21 I have not written unto you because ye know not THE TRUTH,
        but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

1John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ?
        He is antichrist, that denieth the Father AND the Son.
1John 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but)
        he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
1John 2:24 Let that therefore abide in you,
        which ye have HEARD FROM THE BEGINNING
        If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you,
        ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

Leonard Allen: The very truth about Christ--that he is God in the Flesh,

1John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every SPIRIT, but try the SPIRITS whether they are of God:
        because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1John 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit OF GOD:
        Every spirit that confesseth that JESUS CHRIST IS COME IN THE FLESH IS OF CHRIST
1John 4:3 And every SPIRIT that confesseth not
        that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh
        is not of God: and this is that SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST
        whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2John 6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments.
        This is the commandment, That, as ye have HEARD FROM THE BEGINNING, ye should walk in it.
2John 7 For many deceivers are entered into the world,
        who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.
        This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Leonard AllenSon Saviour, and Messiah--becomes INTELLIGIBLE through the deep work of the Spirit.

God pours out His BREATH which produces ONLY Words.

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out.

1. Jesus ALWAYS says that He is the SON of God.

2. The Jews claimed.

John 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not;
    but for Blasphemy;
    and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

3. Jesus called those who accused Him with blasphemy, BLASPHEMERS.

John 10:36 Say ye of him,
    WHOM "Whom" is not the "Father."
    the
    Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world,
Thou BLASPHPHEMEST
    because I said, I am the SON OF GOD
John 10:37 If I do NOT the works of my Father, believe me not.

Another rebuke of the always-pagan triads:

John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not;
        for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them,
        I ascend unto MY Father, and your Father; and to MY God, and YOUR God.

Jesus gave His promise only to those who were not tardy-doubters:

John 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath SENT me, even so SEND I you.
John 20:22 And when he had said this, he BREATHED on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the HOLY SPIRIT

John 20:24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

Tardy and Doubting (faithless) Thomas blurted:

John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
John 20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me,
        thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
John 20:30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

John the Corrects Tardy-Doubting-Faithless Thomas and all Christians:

John 20:31 But these are written,
        that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, [Not Jehovah-Elohim[
        the Son of God;
        and that believing ye might have life through his name.

You are OF the wold and not able to be Washed with water INTO the Word or Logos or Regulative Principle unless you can confess that:

Jesus is the CHRIST the Son of THE Living God.

Leonard Allen: The mission of the Son becomes OPERATIVE and EFFECTIVE through the mission of the Spirit.  That is how the Trinity-in-mission operates.

Leonard Allen says that the Mission of Jesus Christ COULD NOT be effective without A Holy Spirit Person as one of the Gods.

The SON is NOT Operative producing an appropriate effect : NOT efficacious  having the power to produce a desired effect

JESUS DENIES LEONARD ALLEN:

John 5:20 For the Father loveth the Son,
        and sheweth HIM all things that himself doeth:
        and he will shew him greater works than these,
        that ye may marvel.
John 5:36 But I have greater witness than that of John:
        for the WORKS which the Father hath given me to finish,
        the same works that I do, bear witness of me,
        that the Father hath sent me.

ALL PAGAN TRINITIES CONSISTED OF FATHER, MOTHER (SPIRIT) AND BAD SON:

SCRIPTURE IS ALMOST ALWAYS THE ANTITHESIS OF PAGAN THEOLOGY

Matt. 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,
        ALL POWER is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Matt. 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
        baptizing them in the NAME [singular]
        of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

The Father was WORD, The Father BREATHED (spirit), Jesus the Son ARTICULATED the Word of God.

Literate Peter commanded baptism in the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.

Matt. 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things
        whatsoever I have commanded you:
        and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Mark 1:1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;

ADDRESSED TO THIS WRITER: C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out. Here's a brief response to the issue of the Spirit's identity. My time is very short, so this is simply condensed from my book. Three questions:

1. What is the relationship of the Spirit to God?

John 6:63 It is the SPIRIT that quickeneth;
        the flesh profiteth nothing:
        the WORDS that I SPEAK unto you,
        they are , and they are life.

No word in Greek, Latin or Hebrew translated as GHOST and therefore SPIRIT is ever used to define a human or a god.
If Holy Spirit is a God it would be an insult to use the article THE

The PREPOSITION OF is almost always used of spirit NEVER upper case to deity it.

The Spirit is the Mind or Mental disposition OF God which He conveys as BREATH..

1Cor. 2:11
For what man knoweth the things of a man,
        save the spirit OF man which is IN him?
even so the things OF God knoweth no man,
        but the SPIRIT
OF God.

The Spirit OF the World is not a person but the mental disposition of the World.

1Cor. 2:12 Now we have received,
        not the spirit
OF the WORLD,
        but the SPIRIT WHICH IS OF God;
               THAT we might KNOW the things
                that are freely given to us of God.

SPIRIT is always connect to knowledge of the WORD. The Pneuma-Logos bonded pair is well documented.

1Cor. 2:16 For who hath KNOWN the MIND of the Lord,
        that he may instruct him?
        But we have the MIND of Christ.

2Tim. 1:7 For God hath not given us
        the
SPIRIT OF fear;
        but
[the spirit] of power,
        and
[the spirit] of love,
        and
[the spirit] of a sound mind.

Pr.1:23 Turn you at my reproof: behold,
.......... I will POUR out my SPIRIT unto you,
.......... I will make known my WORDS unto you.

H5042.  naba{, naw-bah´; a primitive root; to gush forth; figuratively, to utter (good or bad words); specifically, to emit (a foul odor):—belch out, flowing, pour out, send forth, utter (abundantly).

prō-fĕro  2.  Of pronunciation, to utter, pronounce (post-Aug.): “extremas syllabas,Quint. 11, 3, 33.—
B  To bring out, make known, produce in public, publish (class.): “ejus (orationis) proferendae arbitrium tuum,Cic. Att. 15, 13, 1: “artem,to exhibit
To bring forward, quote, cite, mention

arbī^trĭum   A. 1.. The judgment, decision of an arbitrator (cf. arbiter, II.: arbitrium dicitur sententia
2. Transf. from the sphere of judic. proceedings, judgment, opinion, decision: “ B. Mastery, dominion, authority, power, will, free-will:

Matt. 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men,
        him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
Matt. 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men,
        him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Matt. 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth:
        I came not to send peace, but a sword.

The way to CONFESS Jesus is to speak the same Word, Logos or Regulative which outlaws personal opinions, personal experiences, sermonizing, singing, playing instruments or acting.

John 12:47 And if any man hear my words,
            and believe not, I judge him not:
        for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my WORDS,
        hath one that judgeth him: the WORD that I have spoken,
        the same shall judge him in the last day.

g3670. homologeo, hom-ol-og-eh´-o; from a compound of the base of 3674 and 3056; to assent, i.e. covenant, acknowledge: — con- (pro-)fess, confession is made, give thanks, promise.

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out. A threefold pattern of divine relationality permeates the New Testament.
        There is a deep recognition of the diversity and unity of God by the New Testament writers,
        and their language about this relationality becomes the raw material
        for what later became an explicit doctrine of the trinity.

John wrote decades later to CORRECT the many problems introduced by Greeks and in the SYNAGOGUE OF THE JEWS. They Taught that Jesus was Jehovah in the flesh as a way to REMOVE the role of the human Jesus of Nazareth as Messiah

Jesus in His office of Paraclete or Holy Spirit Comforter gave APT elders as the Pastor-Teachers commanded to teach that which has been taught.
Paul excludes speakers, singers or instruments as the mark of those LYING IN WAIT TO DECEIVE

The first men to use the TRIAD word refuted the mixture of Judaism and Greek myths.  The triad nature is that WHICH EXISTS IN THE ONE GOD THE FATHER.  Jesus made it clear that He manifested Father, Son and Spirit:

Theophilus to Autolycus the meaning of TRIAS
For he that is created is also needy;
        but he that is uncreated stands in need of nothing.
        God, then, having His own WORD INTERNAL within His own bowels,
        begat Him, EMMITING [
My heart hath breathed forth a glorious Word."] Him
        along with His own WISDOM before all things.

HE had this WORD as a HELPER  in the things that were created by Him,
        and by Him He made all things.
        He is called "governing principle" [logos], because He rules,
                and is Lord of all things fashioned by Him.

HE, then, being Spirit of God, and GOVERNING principle, and WISDOM [Sophia], and POWER of the highest,
        came down upon the prophets,
        and through them spoke of the creation of the world and of all other things.
For the prophets were not when the world came into existence,
        but the WISDOM of God which was IN HIM
        and His HOLY WORD which was always present with Him.

Wherefore He speaks thus by the prophet Solomon:
        "When He prepared the heavens I  [WISDOM] was there,
        and when He appointed the foundations of the earth
        was by Him as one brought up with Him."20

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out.  This threefold pattern can be seen clearly from two sets of texts: several that are explicitly trinitarian, and many more focusing on “salvation in Christ” that are less explicit but with a clear trinitarian pattern.

Here are five of the most explicit texts:

1 Corinthians 12:4–6;

GOD is Theos or the Lord (YHWH) God (Elohim): that word is exclusive of any other position.

GOD is always separate from Lord or Christ.  When the word God appears it is an inclusive and exclusive word and any other actor cannot be God. The Spirit of God is the BREATH of God always connected with WORDS.

g2316. theos, theh´-os; of uncertain affinity; a deity, especially (with 3588 Ho) the supreme Divinity; figuratively, a magistrate; by Hebraism, very: — x exceeding, God, god(-ly, -ward).
1Cor. 12:1 Now concerning spiritual GIFTS, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
These are also called the gifts OF Christ:

1Cor. 1:7 So that ye come behind in no gift;
        waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Eph. 4:7 But unto every one of us is given grace
        according to the measure of the GIFTS OF CHRIST

Rom. 1:2 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
Rom. 1:3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord,
        which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
Rom. 1:4 And declared to be the Son of GOD with power,
        according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

Jesus was not declared either Lord Nor Christ until 30 years after He came in the FLESH.
Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly,
        that GOD [Theos]  hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified,
        both LORD [Kurios] and Christ.
Jesus became the First Begotten as the first or Head of the church when He was resurrected, transfigured, Ascended to heaven with the "blood" and returned at Pentecost and "Poured out what you see and hear--breath and fire.
Rev. 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the FIRST BEGOTTEN OF THE DEAD

and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed [baptized]us from our sins in his own blood,

Rom. 6:23 For the wages of sin is death;
       but the GIFT OF God [Theos]
       is eternal life through
       Jesus Christ our Lord. [Kurios]
1Cor. 12:2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols,
         even as ye were led.

Jesus SPOKE what God's SPIRIT breathed or Put in His Mouth. Jesus identified those NOT OF THE WORLD as Speaking only what He commanded them to speaks.
John 6:62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
John 6:63 It is the SPIRIT that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:
        the WORDS that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

THE GLORIFIED JESUS IN HIS GLORIFIED STATE WOULD GUIDE THE APOSTLES INTO ALL TRUTH.  THEREFORE.
Matt. 10:27 What I TELL you in darkness,
        that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the EAR,
        that preach ye upon the housetops.
Matt. 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul:
        but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Matt. 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
Matt. 10:30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Matt. 10:31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
Matt. 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall CONFESS ME before men,
        him will I confess also before MY FATHERr which is in heaven.  [ME is not MY FATHER]
Matt. 10:33 But whosoever shall deny ME before men,
        him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
1Cor. 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand,
        that no man
        SPEAKING by
the SPIRIT
        OF GOD
        calleth JESUS accursed:
1. OF is a preposition and the Spirit OF God is God's own Spirit?
2. The Context shows that the gifts were bestowed solely by God.

1Cor. 12:28 And GOD HATH SET some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

1Cor. 2:10 But God hath REVEALED them unto us BY HIS SPIRIT:

Notice that Paul defines the meaning of the Spirit OF God:

1Cor. 2:11
For what man knoweth the things of a MAN,
        save the SPIRIT OF man which is IN him?
even so the things of God knoweth no man,
        but the Spirit OF God.
1Cor. 2:12 Now we have received,
        not the spirit OF the world,
        but the spirit WHICH is of God;
        THAT we might know the things that are freely given to us of God
1Cor. 2:16 For who hath known the MIND of the Lord,
        that he may instruct him? But we have the MIND of Christ.

Peter who spoke of the Gift of the Holy Spirit says that BAPTISM SAVES because we ASK for or REQUEST A good conscience or conscience meaning a Co-perception of the Word.

Heb. 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn,
        which are written in heaven,
        and to God the Judge of all,
        and to the SPIRITS of just men MADE PERFECT.
and that no man can say that
        JESUS is
        the LORD, [Theos) but by
        the HOLY SPIRIT
If you say that Jesus was God or A God then He cannot be the LORD or CHRIST.
John 10:32 Jesus answered them,
        Many good works have I shewed you from my Father;
        for which of those works do ye stone me?
John 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying,
        For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy;
        and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

John 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath SANCTIFIED,
        and sent into the world,
        Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
John 10:37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
1Cor. 12:4 Now there are diversities of GIFTS,
        but the SAME SPIRIT.
1Cor. 12:5 And there are differences of administrations,
        but the SAME LORD. [Kurios]
1Cor. 12:6 And there are diversities of operations,
        BUT it is the SAME GOD [Theos] which WORKETH ALL IN ALL

1Cor. 12:7 But the MANIFESTATION of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
1Cor. 12:8 For to ONE is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom;
        to ANOTHER the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

If you have ONE who can interpret languages or Dialects you do not need ANOTHER.

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out.  2 Corinthians 13:14;

As the Inspired writers were writing their PARTS for our MEMORY "the Holy Spirit" never appears in the Salutations to the established churches.  Jesus of Nazareth assumed the role as SPIRIT Mediator.

2Cor. 1:1  Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of GOD,
        and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:
2Cor. 1:2 Grace be to you and peace
        from God our Father,
        and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

2Cor. 1:3 Blessed be God,
        even the Father OF
        our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort

Jesus called the clergy BLASPHEMERS for saying that he claimed the role of God when Jesus claimed the power to be BY God the father AND He always denied that He was God (theos) by saying that He was the Son of God.  Jesus became both Lord and Christ 30 years after he was born of FLESH in Mary.

2Cor. 13:13 All the saints salute you.
2Cor. 13:14
        The GRACE of the LORD [Kurios] Jesus Christ,
        and the LOVE of GOD,  [Theos]
        and the COMMUNION
[koinōn-ia] of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

The Spirit OF God is His "breath" which conveys His MENTAL DISPOSITION through Jesus to mankind as the ONLY MEDIATOR

This sounds like a typical doxology.  If God is a trinity of three persons each with their own center of consciousness (Hicks) then why would Paul mention GOD and then Jesus Who CAME IN THE FLESH and the Wholly Spirit or Breath?

As each writer left their PART for our memory the Salutations of the Epistles does not include a separate Spirit.

Gal. 6:18 Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ
        be with YOUR spirit. Amen.
Gal. 1:3 Grace be to you and peace
        from God the Father,
        AND from our Lord Jesus Christ

Phil. 2:1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love,
        if any fellowship of the SPIRIT, if any bowels and mercies,
Phil. 2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be LIKEMINDED, having the same love, being of ONE accord, of one  MIND

Phil. 4:23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you
1Th. 5:28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

There is no "THE" so we have fellowship with HOLY SPIRIT: Jesus said My WORDS are SPIRIT AND LIFE.

1 Cor 10:16 communion of the blood of Christ

1 Cor 1:19 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord
1 Jn 1:3 may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son.
Harvey Floyd: The word with (in Jn 1:1) implies communion, the association (alliance, organization, league, club) of persons.  As literally as this can be translated, it is 'the Word was face to face with (confronting, disputing, in the face of, countering) God, he was toward God (pros ton theon)... There are two actors (cast of characters) in the drama (play, show, performance), and they are face to face with each other.  They are on the stage at the same time... What we have is the doctrine of the Trinity: that God is a triad, that God is one God indeed, but his unity is a complex unity, a unity that exists in diversity. (Floyd, Harvey, Is the Holy Spirit for Me, p. 12, 20th Century Christian.)

2842.   koinonia, koy-nohn-ee´-ah; from 2844; partnership, i.e. (literally) participation, or (social) intercourse, or (pecuniary) benefaction: — (to) communicate(-ation), communion, (contri-)distribution, fellowship.

This sounds like Jesus speaking of Hypocrites and quoting Isaiah 29 and Ezekiel 33.

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out.  Romans 8:9–11;

Rom. 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are IN Christ Jesus,
        who walk not after the FLESH, but [who walk] after the SPIRIT .
Rom. 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us,
        who [WE] walk not after the
FLESH, but [WE walk] after the SPIRIT.
Rom. 8:5 For they that are after the
FLESH
             do mind the things of the
FLESH;
        but they that are after the Spirit
                [do mind] the things OF the
SPIRIT.

IN cannot mean INSIDE OF because God lives in us in the same sense that we live in Father-Son. That is we obey God's commandments

Rom. 8:9 But ye are not IN the flesh, but IN the SPIRIT,
        if so be that the Spirit OF God dwell in you.
        Now if any man have not the
SPIRIT OF Christ, he is none of his.

Jesus is Paraclete and in the state of HOLY SPIRIT. Therefore to have the Spirit OF Christ is to have CHRIST in us

Rom. 8:10 And if Christ be IN YOU
         the BODY is dead because of sin;
         but the
SPIRIT is life because of righteousness.
Rom. 8:11 But if the
SPIRIT OF HIM
         that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you,
         he that raised up Christ from the dead
         shall also quicken your mortal
BODIES
         by HIS
SPIRIT  that dwelleth in you.
Rom. 8:12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the
FLESH, to live after the flesh.
Rom. 8:13 For if ye live after the
FLESH, ye shall die:
        but if ye through the
SPIRIT do mortify the deeds of the BODY, ye shall live.

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out. Acts 2:32–33. Many other Pauline texts, especially those that lay out his formulation of the gospel, demonstrate the threefold pattern of divine relationality: Romans 5:1–8; Galatians 4:4-6; 2 Corinthians 1:20-22; 1 Thess. 1:4–5; 2 Thess. 2:13–14; 1 Cor. 2:4–5; 6:19–20; Gal. 3:1–5; Eph. 2:20–22; Col. 3:16).

After his conversion, Paul remained an ardent monotheist; yet because of his encounter with the risen Christ and his experience of the Spirit, he came to know God as a unity of three deeply related persons.

Key point: Scripture reveals God as three distinct persons who in perfect RELATIONSHIP make up one God.

2. Is the Spirit of God an impersonal power or a distinct personality?

God is not a PERSON.

Spirit literally means WIND and nothing More.  However, it is used to define SIMILAR things. A person would not be in the same class as any of the uses of the "spirit" word.

Psa 33:4 For the [1] word of the [3] Lord is right;
        and all his [3] works are done in truth.
Psa 33:5 He loveth righteousness and judgment:
        the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.
Psa 33:6 By the [1] word of the [3] Lord were the heavens made;
        and all the host of them by the [3] breath (spirit) of his mouth.

Psa 33:9 For he spake, and it was done;
        he commanded, and it stood fast.

The SPIRITS WHICH would rest on Jesus symbolized by the Menorah.  God breathed on the Prophets with the Spirit OF Christ which always resulted in GOD'S WORDS.

When Jesus spoke of eating His flesh He spooked the disciples.  He said:

John 6:63 It is the SPIRIT that quickeneth;

Peter outlawed Private Interpretation or Further Expounding because:

2Pet. 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
2Pet. 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man:
        but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Jesus made these prophecies more certain and the church is to be built upon or educated by the Prophets and Apostles

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out.  The New Testament speaks of the Spirit using many different verbs that demand a personal agent.

For example, the Spirit “testifies” with our spirits that we are children of God (Rom. 8:16),

Spirit is NEVER used to identify a PERSON or GOD.  Spirit means "the mental disposition of an adopted son."  If we feel like a son then we can address God as Father.

Rom. 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit OF BONDAGE  again to fear;
        but YE have received the spirit OF ADOPTION, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Rom. 8:16 The spirit [of adoption] itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

comes alongside to help, and “intercedes” with the Father on our behalf (and God “knows the mind of the Spirit” [Rom. 8:27]).

Rom. 8:26 Likewise the spirit also helpeth our infirmities:  [This is the same spirit or mental
disposition]
        for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:
        but the spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Rom. 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit,
        because he maketh intercession for the saints
according to the will of God.

Jesus is the only INTERCESSOR and He must understand our hearts or spirits to speak to God the Father.

1John 2:1  My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.
         And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

g3875.  parakletos, par-ak´-lay-tos; an intercessor, consoler: — advocate, comforter.

The Spirit “searches” and understands (1 Cor. 2:10–11),

Psa. 44:21 Shall not God search this out?
        for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.
Psa. 77:6 I call to remembrance my song in the night:
        I commune with mine own heart:
        and my spirit made diligent search.
Psa. 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
Jer. 17:10 I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins,
            even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

distributes gift as the Spirit wills (1 Cor. 12:11),

No one was ever given supernatural gifts other than by the laying on of the hands of a apostle.  Before the Scriptures were MADE PERFECT in a congregation you only need ONE person who a gift

1Cor. 12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
1Cor. 12:8 For to ONE is given by the Spirit the WORD of wisdom;
        To ANOTHER the WORD of knowledge by the same Spirit;

Word is the Logos or God's Regulative Principle outlawing speakers, singers or instrument players.  This was to PREVENT anyone from doing hard work of composing and delivering their OWN words which would mark them as a son of the Devil.

Eph. 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Eph. 4:6 ONE God and Father of all,
        who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

These gifts were by Jesus of Nazareth in His Promised role as HOLY SPIRIT simply meaning that He was not present in FLESH AND BONES.S

Eph. 4:7 But unto every one of us is given grace
        according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Eph. 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When HE ascended up on high,
        he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

can be “outraged” by rejection (Heb. 10:29, ESV),

The fullest portrayal of the personhood of the Spirit is found in the Paraclete passages in John 14–16, where the Spirit mediates the Father and the Son to the disciples (especially 14:6–11).

Key point: Scripture reveals the nature of the Spirit as personal not impersonal.

3. What was Jesus’ relationship with the Spirit?

Three key aspects:

First, the Spirit comes to impart human life to Jesus at his conception in the womb of Mary (Lk 1:35). The Spirit of God intervenes in the process of human conception to begin a new humanity in the conception of the Son. The conception and birth of Christ was a gift of the Spirit.

Luke 1:34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her,
        The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee,
        and the
        POWER OF THE HIGHEST shall overshadow thee:
                therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee
                shall be called the Son of God
.

All generation and REgeneration are by the Washing (baptism) of water INTO the WORD or School of christ.
John 6:63 It is the SPIRIT that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:
            the WORDS that I SPEAK unto you,
            they ARE SPIRIT, and they are LIFE.
Quicheneth is g2227. zoopoieo, dzo-op-oy-eh´-o; from the same as 2226 and 4160; to (re-)vitalize (literally or figuratively): — make alive, give life, quicken.

Life g2222.   zoe, dzo-ay´; from 2198; life (literally or figuratively): — life(-time). Compare 5590.
Heb. 4:12 For the WORD of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword,
        piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow,
        and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done,
        but according to his mercy he saved us,
        by the washing of regeneration,
        and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Eph. 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the OLD man,
        which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
Eph. 4:23 And be RENEWED in the SPIRIT OF YOUR
Eph. 4:24 And that ye put on the new man,
        which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Zech. 4:6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying,
        This is the WORD of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power,
        but by MY spirit, saith the Lord of hosts

Mic. 3:8 But truly I am full of power by
        the SPIRIT OF the Lord,
        and [SPIRIT]
OF JUDGMENT,
        and
[SPIRIT] of MIGHT,
                    to DECLARE unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.

Second, at Jesus’ baptism in the Jordan, the Spirit rests upon Jesus as a sign of the Father’s love and Jesus’ anointing as Messiah. As Jesus came out of the water, “heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: ‘You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased’” (Lk 3:21–22).

Hislop23 The bearing of all this upon the question of the identification of Cybele and Astarte, or Venus, is important. Fundamentally, there was but one goddess--the Holy Spirit, represented as female, when the distinction of sex was wickedly ascribed to the Godhead,

through a perversion of the great Scripture idea, that all the children of God are at once begotten of the Father, and born of the Spirit;

and under this idea, the Spirit of God, as Mother, was represented under the form of a dove, in memory of the fact that that Spirit, at the creation, "fluttered"--for so, as I have observed, is the exact meaning of the term in Genesis 1:2--"on the face of the waters."

This goddess, then, was called Ops, "the flutterer," or Juno, "The Dove," or Khubele, "The binder with cords," which last title had reference to "the bands of love, the cords of a man" (called in Hosea 11:4, "Khubeli Adam"), with which not only does God continually, by His providential goodness, draw men unto Himself, but with which our first parent Adam, through the Spirit's indwelling, while the covenant of Eden was unbroken, was sweetly bound to God. This theme is minutely dwelt on in Pagan story, and the evidence is very abundant; but I cannot enter upon it here. Let this only be noticed, however,

    that the Romans joined the two terms Juno and Khubele--or, as it is commonly pronounced, Cybele--together; and on certain occasions invoked their supreme goddess, under the name of Juno Covella--that is, "The dove that binds with cords."

If the reader looks, in Layard, at the triune emblem of the supreme Assyrian divinity, he will see this very idea visibly embodied. There the wings and tail of the dove have two bands associated with them instead of feet (LAYARD'S Nineveh and its Remains). (Fig 61)

figure61.jpg

At first the sin of Eve may have been admitted in all its sinfulness (otherwise men generally would have been shocked, especially when the general conscience had been quickened through the zeal of Shem);

     but when a woman was to be deified, the shape that the mystic story came to assume shows that that sin was softened, yea, that it changed its very character, and that by a perversion of the name given to Eve (ZOE in the LXX), as "the mother of all living ones," that is, all the regenerate, she was glorified as the authoress of spiritual life, and, under the very name Rhea, was recognised as the mother of the gods.

Now, those who had the working of the Mystery of Iniquity did not find it very difficult to show that this name Rhea, originally appropriate to the mother of mankind, was hardly less appropriate for her who was the actual mother of the gods, that is, of all the deified mortals.

Rhea, in the active sense, signifies "the Gazing woman," but in the passive it signifies "The woman gazed at," that is, "The beauty," and thus, under one and the same term, the mother of mankind and the mother of the Pagan gods, that is, Semiramis, were amalgamated; insomcuh, that now, as is well known, Rhea is currently recognised as the "Mother of gods and men" (HESIOD, Theogon). It is not wonderful, therefore that the name Rhea is found applied to her, who, by the Assyrians, was worshipped in the very character of Astarte or Venus.

John’s statement that the Spirit “rested” or “remained” (John 1:32) on him suggests
        that Jesus here entered a new dimension of his relationship with the Spirit,
        and a new stage in his life and ministry.

John 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath SANCTIFIED, and sent into the world,
        Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

g37.   hagiazo, hag-ee-ad´-zo; from 40; to make holy, i.e. (ceremonially) purify or consecrate; (mentally) to venerate: — hallow, be holy, sanctify.

 ALL PAGAN TRINITIES CONSISTED OF FATHER, MOTHER (SPIRIT) AND INFANT SON.

Contrary to the Babylon Mother of Harlots identified by the DOVE, God the Father pronounces Jesus a SON only after he had been baptized to "fulfill all righteousness."

The Historic Triad was never three god persons but.

John 10:37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
John 10:38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works:
        that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is IN me, and I IN him.

Tertullian

For before all things God was alone --
        being in Himself and for Himself universe, and space, and all things.
Moreover, He was ALONE, because there was nothing external to Him but HIMSELF.
        Yet even not then was He alone;
        for He had with Him that which He possessed in Himself,
        that is to say, His own Reason.

For God is rational, and Reason was FIRST in Him; and so all things were from Himself.
This Reason is His own Thought (or Consciousness) which the Greeks call logos,

        by which term we also designate Word or Discourse

It was through this anointing by the Spirit that Jesus,
        the eternal Son of God, became the “Christ” (anointed one)
        and received empowerment for his messianic mission.

Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly,
        that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified,
        both Lord and Christ.

Acts 10:38 How GOD ANOINTED Jesus of Nazareth with
        the Holy Ghost
        and with power:
                who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him

Rom. 1:1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,
Rom. 1:2 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
Rom. 1:3 Concerning his SON Jesus Christ our Lord,
        which was made of the SEED according to the flesh;

After His baptism a VOICE declared that Jesus was God's beloved son.  However, He was not the first begotten SON as the LORD of His kingdom until after the Resurrection.

Rev. 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness,
        and the first begotten OF THE DEAD
                and the PRINCE of the kings of the earth.
                        Unto him that loved us,
                        and washed us from our sins
                        in his own blood,

The Gift of A holy spirit after Baptism is OUR once holy spirit REGENERATED.

1Pet. 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father,
        through sanctification of the Spirit,
        unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ:
        Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Third, the Spirit transfigures and exalts the risen but STILL Jesus Christ. Jesus “through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the Son of God in power by his resurrection from the dead” (Rom. 1:4).

Rom. 1:4 And DECLARED to be the Son of God with power,
        according to the spirit OF holiness,
        by the resurrection from the dead:

The spirit OF HOLINESS is not a GOD FAMILY but the disposition of holiness.

Acts 5:30 The GOD of our fathers RAISED up Jesus,
        whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
Acts 10:40 Him
GOD RAISED up the third day, and shewed him openly;

Jesus was exalted in a transformed, resurrected humanity by a new work of the Spirit in him. From this exalted position, Christ then pours out the Spirit at Pentecost, marking the first installment of our resurrected and transfigured humanity (Acts 2:33).

In these “trinitarian” narratives, Scripture reveals the PERSON of the Spirit in an intimate relationship with Jesus.
        The Son and the Spirit are INTERDEPENDENT persons
                who TOGETHER,  in the intimacy of their relationship,
                work to bring us into the fullness of life the Father desires for us.

Luke 4:1  And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan,
        and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

'''''''''The Son was dependent upon the Spirit, and the Spirit was dependent upon the Son; in the New Testament, we see a deep reciprocity between them. Christ is, first, born of the Spirit, then anointed by the Spirit, then empowered by the Spirit to live a fully human life; and then, following his death and resurrection, exalted by the Spirit. The Spirit was Jesus’ inseparable companion throughout his human life—from conception, baptism, wilderness temptations, the working of miracles and signs, to death and resurrection. The Spirit empowered, sustained, and renewed Jesus’ life as a human being.

Key point: Scripture reveals the Spirit as a distinct and personal subject within the life of God.

Leonard Allen

PART TWO:

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out.  Let me respond modestly to your assertion that “Spirit literally means WIND and nothing More. It is correct that “spirit” in the OT often means “wind” or “breath.” But to say that it means nothing more than that in Scripture is to claim too much. Here are some thoughts (condensed from my book):

I meant that the word which God choose to define His Work and Word literally means WIND. If I were a "god" I might worry about that.  Upon that "spirit" is used. I have crawled and posted many of the important Fathers and the Classics and a spirit is a demon or what is left of a dead person. I don't think that I have ever seen SPIRIT used to identify a person but the Mind or Mental disposition.

In a figurative sense or it is used with OR. I remember little of grammar but I think that the Spirit OF God is God's own Spirit.

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out.  The backdrop to identifying the Spirit in the New Testament is provided by the main metaphors for the Spirit in the Old Testament. Wind or breath is the most prominent, but there are several others: a warming or even a raging fire (“[H]e will cleanse the bloodstains from Jerusalem by a spirit of judgment and a spirit of fire” [Isa. 4:4]);

Is. 4:3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem,
        shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
Is. 4:4 When the Lord shall have
        washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion,
        and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof

        by the spirit OF judgment,
        and by the spirit OF burning.

The baptism of Spirit and Fire is promised to the race of Vipers and defines the winnowing process.

John 3:33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.

John 3:34 For he whom God hath sent
.......... speaketh the words of God:
.......... for God giveth not the Spirit
.......... by measure unto him.

This is a parallelism: Speaking the Words of God is the meaning of Spirit without measure. Jesus said My WORDS are SPIRIT and they are LIFE.  Jesus as the "son" never spoke on His own but what he heard from the "Father within." Father, Son and Spirit are not names.

Is.59:21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord;
.......... My spirit that is upon thee,
.......... and my words which I have put in thy mouth,

shall not depart out of thy mouth,
nor out of the
mouth of thy seed,
nor out of the mouth of thy
seeds seed,
saith the Lord,
from henceforth and for ever.

Pr 1:22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

Pr.1:23 Turn you at my reproof: behold,
.......... I will pour out my spirit unto you,
.......... I will make known my words unto you.

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out. oil, as in anointing (“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed me” [Isa. 61:1]);

The Father "breathes" and the Son "speaks." The Father does not need another "god" person to be able to INspirit the Son.

Is. 61:1 The SPIRIT of the Lord GOD is upon me;
        because the LORD hath anointed me to PREACH good tidings unto the meek;
        he hath SENT ME to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives,

Is. 61:2 To PROCLAIM the acceptable year of the LORD,
        and the day of vengeance of our God;
        to comfort all that mourn;

The Spirit was given without measure and Jesus SPOKE only what the Father said:

John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man,

C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out.  Spirit of God (ruach—breath or wind) is often used in the Old Testament to express the mysterious action of God in human life and in creation. To call God “spirit” was to speak of God as a living presence—experienced with two kinds of “breath”: a gentle breath moving deeply within a person or a strong wind drawing people into its path. Neither aspect was under human control. Both aspects appear in Ezekiel’s vision of the valley of dry bones (Ezek. 37). Israel in exile has lost everything, including, they seem to believe, their God; they are like a heap of dry bones bleaching in the desert sun. Yahweh promises to come like the wind (which can be translated wind, breath, or spirit; Ezek. 37:9). God will breathe and the four winds of the earth will blow, giving the people life and causing them to stand on their feet in formation like an army ready for action.

Ezek. 37:1  The HAND OF THE LORD was upon me,
        and carried me out
        In
The SPIRIT [h7307] OF THE LORD,
        and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
Ezek. 37:2 And caused me to pass by them round about:
        and, behold, there were very many in the open valley;
        and, lo, they were very dry.

Ezek. 37:3 And HE SAID unto me,
        Son of man, can these bones live?
        And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.

Ezek. 37:4 Again he said unto me,
        Prophesy upon these bones,
        and say unto them, O ye dry bones,
        HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD .

Ezek. 37:5 Thus SAITH THE LORD GOD
         unto these bones;
        Behold, I will cause BREATH [h7307]
        to enter into you, and ye shall live:

Ezek. 37:6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you,
        and cover you with skin, and put breath
[h7307] in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
Ezek. 37:7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied,
        there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

Ezek. 37:8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
Ezek. 37:9 Then said he unto me,
        Prophesy unto the wind.
[h7307]

prophesy, son of man, and SAY to the wind [h7307] , breath
        Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds,
        O breath [h7307] , and breathe upon these slain,
        that they may live.
Ezek. 37:10 So I prophesied as he COMMANDED ME
        and the breath
[h7307]  came into them, and they lived,
        and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
C. Leonard Allen Spirit Poured out.  As Israel’s prophets envisioned the age to come, they looked for a much richer experience of God’s powerful presence within Israel (Ezek. 36:26–27,
Ezek. 36:25  Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean
       from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
Ezek. 36:26 A new HEART also will I give you,
        and a new SPIRIT will I put within you:
        and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh,
        and I will give you an heart of flesh.
  Ezek. 36:27 And I will put MY
SPIRIT within you,
        and cause you to walk in my statutes,
        and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

         and his

Job 15:13 That thou turnest thy

        and lettest such WORDS go out of thy mouth?

Prov. 1:23 Turn you at my reproof:

39:29; 37;

Ezek. 39:28 Then shall they know that I am the Lord their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.
Ezek. 39:29
        Neither WILL I HIDE [abs-condo] ,my face any more from them:

        I have poured ef-fundo] out  MY spirit upon the house of Israel,
        saith the Lord God.

God breathed and Jesus articulated God's Word.  When He had revealed His Word men like Peter claimed to be eye-- and ear-- witnesses of Jesus making the prophecies about Christ more certain by signs and wonders.

God IS Spirit and His Words are Spirit so that once they have been delivered the work of Jesus would be INVALIDATED unless it is true as He claimed:

John 6:63 It is the SPIRIT that quickeneth;
        the flesh profiteth nothing:
        the WORDS that I SPEAK unto you,
        they are , and they are life.
