Calling down Gods "holy" fire: Malachi knew about ACU, Ken Cukrowski, Mark Hamilton, and James Thompson when he asked: "who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a REFINER'S FIRE, and like FULLER'S SOAP: Malachi 3:2 (To Wash). The concept of HOLY FIRE has meaning ONLY in connection with CONSUMING those who refuse to approach God with reverence and Godly fear. Those who PEDDLE or "retail" the Word which they do not believe are enemies of Christ.

Mal 4:1 FOR, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

Baar (g1197) baw-ar'; a prim. root; to kindle, i. e. consume (by fire or by eating); also (as denom. from 1198) to be (-come) brutish: - be brutish, bring (put, take) away, burn, (cause to) eat (up), feed, heat, kindle, set ([on fire]), waste.

Is.10:17 And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day;

Isa 11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath [Spirit] of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

"The Bible is not so much a 'heaven-sent answer book' as a historical book produced within and for a historical community-- yet it serves as Scripture today because people find themselves accountable to it. That is what make its Scripture" (p. 46).

Abilene Christian University Press has recently issued "God's Holy Fire is highly endorsed by Royce Money, ACU president.

John Waddey quotes from the new KNOW NOTHING TEXANS as the Southern Baptists are called by Harold Bloom in identified the Baptists as a Gostic religion with not connection to historic Christianity.

God's Holy Fire ACU promises that if you JUDAIZE that:

1. "Eliminating the Old Testament from our canon severely curtails our understanding of the character and activities of God..." (p. 49).

2. "Recovering the Old Testament conversely could transform us more fully into what we have always sought to be--Churches of Christ" (ibid.).

3. "Recognizing that the Old Testament functions just as fully as the New in the canon of the church...." (p. 63).

4. "Too often, we in churches of Christ have made a mistake in removing the Old Testament, for practical purposes, from our canon. The hole in Scripture has produced a hole in the practice of our faith" (p. 66).

Both of their assumptions about the acceptance of and study of the Old Testament in our churches are patently false and force us to one of the following conclusions:

1. Either the authors are totally isolated from the congregations of our brotherhood, beyond the campus of their university;

2. Or they are speaking of their own preaching and teaching;

3. Or they are deliberately setting up an impotent straw man which they can beat and batter in order to convince those who are unlearned and ignorant of the facts that they are doing the church some great service. The announced plan and purpose of ACU's "Heart of the Restoration Series" gives some credence to this last assumption. "This series will help stimulate discussion and make a meaningful contribution to the fellowship of the churches of Christ and beyond" (Preface).

It seems to this author that in order to successfully introduce the innovations which these men wish to impose on the church, they must seduce our people away from the conviction that Christ alone is head over all things to the church (Eph. 1:22); that His Word will judge us in the last day (John 12:48); that the church is founded upon the teaching of Christ and his apostles (Eph. 2:19-20); that God has instructed us to honor Christ above key representatives of the Old Covenant, Moses and Elijah (Matt. 17:1-8).

If they can persuade folks that we are amenable to the Old Testament, the same as the New, then:

4. They can have Scripture for instrumental music in worship (Ps. 150).

But instruments were added under the KING and COMMANDERS of the Army to the Temple. The temple was LIKE THE NATIONS because the elders "fired" God and prayed for a king LIKE THE NATIONS so that they could worship LIKE THE NATIONS..
5. They can have approval for hand clapping and dancing in worship (Ps. 47:1; 149:3).
6. They can have women leaders of God's people, like Deborah and Huldah the Prophetess.
7. They can have holy days, fasts and festivals like Christmas, Easter and Ash Wednesday.
The ZOE GROUP wants to kindle the fire as it LOOKS TO THE HILLS from which THEIR salvation comes. But, the proof text warns against looking to the MOUNTAIN GODS. Everyone seems DESTINED to lust to be the first to kindle GOD'S HOLY FIRE:
"The nature of a fire is to spread, but how can we expect the fire to grow and to catch onto others if ours is only a candle-sized flame? The best way to witness to your friends is to show them by example. When Non-Christians see the inferno in our lives they will find it irresistible and will be drawn like moths."--TO GET SINGED. Satan's agents want to attract you to the FIRE by making it seem to be something GOOD like the "fruit" in the garden of Eden. You know that the serpent is defined as a Musical Enchanter.
means "HELL or suggesting hell." The CONSUMERS WITH FIRE literally invite you to participate in HELL right now. But God always MARKS them with some sign so that those awake will not turn into toast.

By definition, all singing and music was considered LYING because it was two or three removes from what had been delivered into their hands. That is why Athenian Law forbade sending out as heralds (kerusso--preachers or presbyters) any philosopher or poet because they could not be trusted NOT to tamper with the Word and endanger the nation.

Of the RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS Amos condemned as leading to the captivity and death sentence imposed at Mount Sinai because of MUSICAL IDOLATRY, Isaiah speaking of their religious festivals noted that:

And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the wsa 5:12 ork of the Lord, neither consider the operation of his hands.

Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. Isa 5:13

Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it. Isa 5:14

Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms (MAGGOTS) cover thee. Is.14:11

And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled: Isa 5:15

Therefore as the FIRE devoureth the stubble, and the FLAME consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the Lord of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. Is.5:24

ZOE is another name for LUCIFER who was the king-queen of Tyre and named the "singing and harp-playing prostitute." She is the end time holy whore who LIGHTS THE FIRE:

Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Ezekiel 28:13

By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane (polluted) out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Ezekiel 28:16

And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love (amorous love songs), but their heart goeth after their covetousness. Ezekiel 33:31

And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not. Ezekiel 33:32

God consumes enemies: that is the baptism of fire.

The prophesy against Asyria was also against Jerusalem and Egypt:

And the Lord shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the LIGHTENING down of his ARM, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a DEVOURING fire, with SCATTERING, and tempest (Navigating the Winds), and hailstones. Isa 30:30

For through the VOICE of the Lord shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod. Isa 30:31

And in every place where the grounded staff shall pass, which the Lord shall lay upon him, it shall be with TABRETS and HARPS: and in battles of SHAKING will he fight with it. Isa 30:32

Of the king of Babylon:

Thy POMP is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy VIOLS: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms (MAGGOTS) cover thee. Is.14:11

For Tophet (from tambourine) is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is FIRE and much wood; the BREATH of the Lord, LIKE a stream of brimstone, doth KINDLE it. Isa 30:33

Ye shall CONCEIVE chaff, ye shall bring forth STUBBLE: your BREATH, as FIRE, shall DEVOUR you Is.33:11

Paul speaks of this HOLY SPIRIT BURNING OF THOSE WHO DESPISE THE WORD OF GOD AND PROMOTE "NEW STYLE WORSHIP."

To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, Heb. 12:23

And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. Heb. 12:24

Musical teams promise to "lead you into the presence of God." That means that the musical mediators, just as in the pagan temples, REPLACE the role of Lord Jesus Christ.

When the Levites lead the types of Jesus Christ into the presence of the court yard (only) and made a great "musical noise" while they were LED TO THE SLAUGHTER they should know that they were heading for THE CONSUMING FIRES.

See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: Heb. 12:25

Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I SHAKE not the earth only, but also HEAVEN. Heb 12:26

And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the REMOVING of those things that are SHAKEN, as of things that ARE MADE, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. (shaken not means removed to heaven G3331) HEB 12:27

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which CANNOT be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with REVERENCE and GODLY FEAR: Heb 12:28

For our God is a consuming fire. Heb.12:29

I am never sure about the end-times but I am ALWAYS SURE that we will be as fooled as the Jews in the first advent. For instance the battles of Armageddon speak more of POLEMIC battles of Words than battle of the Worlds. Aren't we more in war with the IDEALS of Islam than in literal war? In churches of Christ we are in an ARMAGEDDON against new JUDAISERS who lust to adopt the "because of transgression" Law again.

There is holy warning here about trying to stir up STRANGE FIRE by the "works of human hands." God HAD NOT commanded incense but Nadab and Abihu knew about it from their old paganism. God often PLAGUES people with that which they IMPROVISE from pagan religions.

And there came a fire out from before the Lord, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces. Lev 9:24

AND Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the Lord, which he commanded them not. Lev 10:1

And there went out fire from the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord. Lev 10:2

They GIGGLE and poke fun of the Nadab and Abihu principle but they are just ignorant that PATTERNS do repeat themselves when you add incense which God had not commanded: they BORROWED it from the pagans.

YOU CANNOT WORSHIP GOD WHILE LEADING "THE IDOLATRY OF TALENT."

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: Heb. 12:28

Reverence is: Aidos (g127) ahee-doce'; perh. from 1 (as a neg. particle) and 1492 (through the idea of downcast eyes); bashfulness, i.e. (towards men), modesty or (towards God) awe: - reverence, shamefacedness.

When the feminine or effeminate swing and sway and clap and sing silly, erotic praise songs, they CANNOT be reverent and they MANUFACTURE irreverence. There is no such thing as reverent DRAMA.

Godly Fear is: Eulabeia (g2124) yoo-lab'-i-ah; from 2126; prop. caution, i.e. (religiously) reverence (piety); by impl. dread (concr.): - fear (- ed).

Most "team worshipers" sing, clap, dance, use drama and often use instruments which have their origin in Lucifer or Sophia/ Zoe before he/she was CAST OUT of heaven along with his "worshipers." There can be no Godly fear and God is MOCKING them with blindness to MARK and lead out others who are blind. The Hebrew for clapping includes the word VOMIT.

"Worship" is like a "dog licking his feet" because a human approaching God in the Most Holy Place comes boldly but not with DELIBERATE IRREVERANCE.

Because: For our God is a consuming fire. Heb.12:29

God does NOT CONSUME the "commercial musical industry's ENEMIES; it consumes the musicians WITH THEIR OWN BREATH. In a mystical way God is already BURNING the enemies of His Words just as He is removing the Spirits of the faithful to His invisible kingdom: when Jesus returns you may not find a singe SAVED PERSON in "church" named after CIRCE who was John's model of the HOLY WHORE.

Contrary to the Biblically Illiterate change agents at ACU, endorsed by Royce Money, people in churches of Christ do read the Old Testament. This is where we find proof that water baptism is necessary for remission of sins.

BEHOLD, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the WAY before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts. Malachi 3:1

The refiner's fire made silver and gold to become a water vessel pure enough to enter into the temple. Our spirit is the temple of God. Fuller's Soap makes Crimson garments as white as snow.

THE WASHING PROCESS BY JESUS CHRIST WAS PROPHESIED TO BE:

Kabac (h3526) kaw-bas, to trample; hence to wash (prop. by stamping with the feet)... WASHING. The Greek Louo (g3068) means to bathe the whole person.

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, Re.1:5

Paul defined this WASHING:

"Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water (H20). Heb.10:22

This was the SIGN to many. Therefore, again, the pseudo- peer validated sOPHISts can't even read the NEW TESTAMENT. Mark quoted Malachi and saw BAPTISM as the "beginning" of the Gospel of Christ:

THE BEGINNING of the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ, the S.O.N. of God; Mark 1:1

Liddell and Scott note: "Arche means the beginning, origin, lay a foundation, LOGOS (Word) the WORD of the THOUGHT, principles of knowledge

Jesus the WORD OR SON spoke the THOUGHT of the FATHER. His ARCHE or most important commandment to the Apostles was to GO, PREACH and BAPTIZE those with FAITH.

Therefore, Mark looks back to the GOSPEL prophesied by Malachi and forward to "THE" faith or the Christian system.

As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy WAY before thee. Mark 1:2

The voice (shouting) of one crying in the wilderness (a very lonely place), Prepare ye the WAY of the Lord, make his paths straight (level at once). Mark 1:3

Mark then reveals the most important principle of the gospel for those who are not Jesus the Christ.

John DID baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance FOR the remission of sins. Mark 1:4

This was the MARK of the presence of God in the flesh. Many Jews saw this baptizer as a SIGN of Messiah:

And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins. Mark 1:5

And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet? John 1:25

After the day of Pentecost, over 5,000 had been baptized, saved, added to the church by Christ and fled from Jerusalem.

Then God poured out HIS HOLY FIRE on Jerusalem and consumed the temple, city, nationhood and over one million people who rejected the direct command to be baptized. Isn't it interesting that water baptism makes you FIRE PROOF.

That we should be (1) saved from our enemies, and (2) from the hand of all that hate us (Satan); Luke 1: 71

(3) To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and (4) to remember his holy covenant; The oath which HE sware to our father ABRAHAM, Luke 1: 72-73

And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; Lu 1:76

(4) To give KNOWLEDGE of salvation (A new spirit) unto his people

(5) BY the REMISSION of their SINS, Lu.1:77

Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, Lu 1:78

To give light to them that sit in darkness (ignorance) and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. Luke 1:79

Hinting that the Holy Spirit of Christ in Zacharias, Rick Marrs of Pepperdine didn't know what He was revealing may commit the unforgivable sin: John Waddey notes that the claim is that:

God's Holy Fire ACU: "The question for the apostolic church was not whether the Old Testament exercised authority over them, they had no doubt it did..." (p. 57 and all of chapter 3).

But: When Peter sought to equally honor Jesus, Moses and Elijah, God said, "This is my beloved Son...hear ye him" (Matt. 17:1-6).

ONLY at baptism do BELIEVERS repent and call upon Christ to give them A holy spirit or A clear conscience so that they can understand the depth of the mysteries of God. Paul warned the legalists (Doctors of the Law). NONE of them are aware that after offering the original ten commandments and THE BOOK OF THE COVENANT, the Israelites "rose up to play" which was MUSICAL IDOLATRY. According to Stephen in Acts 7 God turned them over to worship the STARRY HOST including Chiun or Saturn whose Chaldee number is 666:

Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness. Eze 20: 21

Nevertheless I withdrew mine hand, and wrought for my names sake, that it should not be polluted in the sight of the heathen, in whose sight I brought them forth. Eze 20: 22

I lifted up mine hand unto them also in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the heathen, and disperse them through the countries; Eze 20: 23

Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers idols. Ezekiel 20: 24

Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live; Ezekiel 20: 25

Click for the whole gory detail showing that THE BOOK OF THE LAW was given to legislate for the lawless. When the elders demanded a KING it was so that they could WORSHIP LIKE THE NATIONS.

Therefore, restoring the LAW OF MOSES repudiates Jesus Christ and prays just as at Mount Sinai: "Burn us up in your holy fires" which was in the arms of Molech.

Because God knew that the people would MERGE with Canaanite Baalism carried out in and around the temple He promised:

The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; Deut 18:15

The Israelites PRAYED to be able to worship like the nations. God answered their prayer but sent leanness into their souls. God TURNED THEM OVER to worship the STARRY HOST. God would judge them later and use the KINGS to lead the nation into captivity and death.

According to all that thou desiredst of the Lord thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. Deut 18:16

I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. Deut 18:18
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. Deut 18:19

But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. Deut 18:20

Book of Enoch, Chapter 2

1 Behold, he comes with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon them, and destroy the wicked, and reprove all the carnal for everything which the sinful and ungodly have done, and committed against him.
