Adam Good Is Trinity Blasphemy

Seek The Old Paths: Christianity And Islam #4: DOCTRINE ABOUT JESUS
1Tim. 2:5 For there is one God,
        and one mediator between God and men,
        the MAN Christ Jesus;
The Enemies of Jesus Christ
John 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying,
        For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy;
        and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

Jesus called them blasphemers because He always said that He was the SON of God.
John 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified,
        and sent into the world,
        Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

Jesus says that to say that the SON of God IS God is blasphemy. Furthermore it is not very smart.

Adam Good:
Many Christians are surprised to learn that Jesus is referenced dozens of times in the Qur’an. However, Christianity and Islam hold irreconcilable positions concerning His identity and mission. Each religion proclaims the other’s doctrine concerning Jesus to be the gravest of blasphemies.

Moses declared that Messiah would be a PROPHET: He is more.

Deut. 18:15 The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
Deut. 18:18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

Certified by the New Testament:

Acts 3:22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
Acts 7:37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear

If it is proven that Jesus was a Prophet, and a Prophet speaks only what God breathes (Spirit) into Him then Jesus was not the Lord [YHWH] God [ELOHIM] or the Lord as the only true God disqualifying a world filled with gods or elohim.

The translation of Lord and God is reversed in the New Testament:
1Cor. 8:5 For though there be that are called gods,
        whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
1Cor. 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father,
        OF whom are all things, and we in him;
        and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Trinitarians say that Jesus was God or one of the three gods.  Paul said that there is ONE GOD the FATHER. Since Jesus is Lord, He is not God.

Jesus was not Lord or Kurios until God MADE HIM TO BE

Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly,
        that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified,
        both Lord and Christ.

He was Lord indeed and the only begotten from the dead: not from eternity past:

Rom. 14:9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived,
        that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

Don't be shocked: there is no recorded history of anyone defining God as three persons as in "people" and EACH with their own center of consciousness until H. Leo Boles in 1938.
Whatever the Koran says about Jesus can have no bearing on what Scripture says or Christians believe.  Jesus defined a Christian as a DISCIPLE commanded to teach and observe what He commanded.  Jesus identified Holy Scripture as the Prophets and other prophecies about Him.  The prophets define the REST Messiah would bring both inclusively.  Jesus' mission was to confirm those prophecies by signs and wonders.  Peter and others as eye-- and ear--witnesses of Him left us a "memory" and declared that record not subject to "private interpretation" or further expounding which would deny that God's Spirit or "breath" provided and Jesus taught only what He heard or saw from the father.

John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,
        If ye continue in MY WORD, then are ye my disciples indeed;
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 8:38 I SPEAK that which I have SEEN with my Father:
        and ye DO that which ye have seen with your father.
John 8:41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him,
        We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.

A Christian as the Son of God SPEAKS only what He has revealed to us.
A Child of the Devil is consumed with DOING which is the "poem" word knowing that music can silence the voice of Jesus.

Islam has usually had a very low view of music

Firstly, music is a useless activity which in fact, is a state of passiveness. As we will explain in another article about gambling, the fact that such an inactivity, which is inherent in those so called professions, did not escape the attention of our religion.

Secondly, the benefit and pleasure taken from music involves a meaning of deep slavery in passion. Since Islam is the only enemy of passiveness and slavery in passion, an important duty of Islam is to search their traces in unexpected hide-outs

Those who do not CONTINUE IN MY WORD are not Disciples of Christ and are not Christians.

Jesus as the WORD is the

Most songs and sermons refute Jesus by refusing as APT elders to "teach that which has been taught." The large body of books and articles have the same weight as the Koran.

Muhammad’s Allah is clearly distinguished from the God of the Bible by what is taught in his name concerning Jesus. They cannot possibly be the same deity. Consequently, there can be no agreement between faithful Christians and Muslims.

Christians who believe that Jesus was THE GOD also agree that He was Allah: “Elohim is the plural of Eloah (in Arabic Allah. The Lord [YHWH]--God [Elohim] is the only real Elohim or Allah. Muslims build upon the Elohim which were the "gods" who were destructive and claimed a god's authority to rule over people and fleece their sheep.

When people claim that Jesus WAS GOD or A god they are saying that He was ALLAH:

Elohim is the plural of Eloah (in Arabic Allah ); it is often used in the short form EL (a word signifying strength , as in EL-SHADDAI, God Almighty, the name by which God was specially known to the patriarchs. (Genesis 17:1; 28:3; Exodus 6:3) The etymology is uncertain, but it is generally agreed that the primary idea is that of strength, power of effect, and that it properly describes God in that character in which he is exhibited to all men in his works, as the creator, sustainer and supreme governor of the world.
        The plural form of Elohim has given rise to much discussion. The fanciful idea that it referred to the trinity of persons in the Godhead hardly finds now a supporter among scholars. It is either what grammarians call the plural of majesty, or it denotes the fullness of divine strength, the sum of the powers displayed by God. Jehovah denotes specifically the one true God, whose people the Jews were, and who made them the guardians of his truth.” — Smith’s Bible Dictionary

Ex. 3:15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, THE LORD [YHWH] God [Elohim] of your fathers,
THE God of Abraham, THE God of Isaac, and THE God of Jacob, hath sent ME unto you: this is MY name for ever, and this is MY memorial unto all generations.

Adam Good: Christianity is built upon the deity of Jesus the Christ. That Jesus is both the “Son of God” and “God incarnate” is set forth clearly in Scripture.

Jesus will call that blasphemy and John will mark that as AntiChrist because Jesus of Nazareth came IN THE FLESH saying that A Spirit (God) does not have flesh and bones. Christianity as a SCHOOL-ONLY of the WORD-ONLY of CHRIST-ONLY is built upon two things.

First Christianity is built on the confession that Jesus is the SON of God and NOT God:

Matt. 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said,
        Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. [self-exising excluding the 'son' concept]
Matt. 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him,
        Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona:
        for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee,
        but my Father which is in heaven
Matt. 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter,
        and upon this rock I will build [aedificabo or educate] my church;
        and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Second: Jesus and others identify "Holy Scripture" as that which was INspirited by the Breath of God and other prophecies made by others: one of these was made by Moses that Messiah would be "A PROPHET Like ME."

Eph. 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners,
        but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household [exclusive of priests, levites, clergy] of God;
Eph. 2:20 And are built upon [aedificabo or educate] the foundation of the apostles and prophets,
        Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

That Education is limited by the Word, Logos or Regulative principle which outlaws preaching sermons, composing songs or anything but the direct command to SPEAK that which is written for our LEARNING.

Eph. 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men,
         as it is now revealed
         unto his holy apostles and prophets
         by the Spirit;  [God breathed which is not a spirit person]

Acts 15:21 For Moses of old time
          hath in every city them that PREACH him,
          being READ in the synagogues every sabbath [Rest]  day.

The Rock is the confession that Jesus is the Christ, the SON of the living or self-existing God. Those who claim that Jesus was "the Lord God of Abraham" when He was of the SEED of Abraham cannot be a Christian. They "speak on their own" which was Jesus' way to mark the "sons of the Devil."  Jesus stood on a great rock in from  of the Gates or Hell or the temple of Pan.  Jesus did not create the WORLD or the Cosmos: He created a spiritual world in conflict with those from BENEATH.

Adam Good: When the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, he told her that the “holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God” (Luke 1:35).

What trinitarians probable read, however, is:

When the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, he told her that the “holy One who is to be born will be  God” (Luke 1:35).

Jesus always says that He is the Son of God: those who say that He claimed to be god or Co-Equal with God blasphemers.  Jesus had life breathed into Him by the same Spirit or Breath which caused Adam who was a WORLD person to become a Spiritual person.

Luke 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt CONCEIVED in thy womb,
        and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
Luke 1:32 He shall be great,
        and shall be called the Son of the Highest:
        and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of HIS FATHER David:

The Throne of David proves that Jesus was the SEED of David as King over his New Creation.
Rom. 1:2 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
Rom. 1:3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord,
        which was made of the seed of David according to the FLESH;
Rom. 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power,
        according to the spirit OF holiness,
        by the resurrection from the dead:

Rev. 1:5 AND from Jesus Christ,
        1. who is the faithful witness,
        2.  and the first begotten of the dead,
        3. and the prince of the kings of the earth.

Messiah as the Audible and Visual WORD of God came in the flesh. God is not flesh and bones and will not fit in flesh and bones.

1John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not
        that Jesus Christ is come in the
FLESH is not of God:
        and this is that spirit of antichrist,
        whereof ye have heard that it should come;
        and even now already is it in the world.
2John 7  For many deceivers are entered into the world,
        who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the
FLESH.
        This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Heb. 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Luke 1:33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever;
        and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
1Cor. 15:24 Then cometh the end,
        when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God,
        even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
1Cor. 15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
1Cor. 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
1Cor. 15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet.
         But when he saith all things are put under him,
        it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
1Cor. 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him,
        then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all
Luke 1:34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her,

        The Holy Spirit [Breath] shall come upon thee,

        and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee:
        therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee
        shall be called the SON of God.

If you say: "When the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, he told her that the “holy One who is to be born will be  God” You are in danger because despising the Word is called blasphemy.

Mary conceived using the same word as Elizabeth.  Her egg was ENspirited by sperm or seed.  The Seed is the Word of God in Mary's case.

Luke 1:36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth,
        she hath also CONCEIVED a son in her old age:
        and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.

THE FIRST ADAM. Adam was made of dust and he is defined as an Aborigines or Autochlothone: an earthly man. Being OF the World he has no Spiritual feelings.

Gen. 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground,
        and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
        and man became a living soul.

THE SECOND ADAM began as an egg as the SEED of Abraham and David: He was just flesh.  The Holy Spirit is the BREATH of God so that Jesus was from God but not OF God having sex with a mortal.

Adam Good: Matthew 16:16-17 reads: “...Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
        AND Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou,
                    Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee,
        BUT my Father which is in heaven.

The sentence says that Jesus is not the one God the Father in Heaven.

Jesus was neither Christ nor the Son of the SELF-EXISTING God unto He was given that evangelistic office.

Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly,
        that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified,
        both Lord and Christ.

Those OF the World in a religious sense are Aborigines or Autochlothns OF the Earth. Their DOGMA of a trinity of gods is based on their own mortal experiences.

HOW THE FIRST ADAM WAS FORMED

The Babylonians claimed that the lazy gods created mankind like a "mud pie" and brought it to life to become labor-savings devices: God created mankind to serve THEM.

Adam was from the DUST and was therefore an aborigine. In the language of pagans he was an autochthones

Hislop 75:  No wonder that it came at last to be firmly believed that the Messiah, on whom the hopes of the world depended, was Himself the "seed of the serpent"! This was manifestly the case in Greece; for the current story there came to be, that the first Bacchus was brought forth in consequence of a connexion on the part of his mother with the father of the gods, in the form of a "speckled snake." *

* OVID, Metam. So deeply was the idea of "the seed of the serpent" being the great World-king imprinted (marked) on the Pagan mind, that when a man set up to be a god upon earth, it was held essential to establish his title to that character, that he prove himself to be the "serpent's seed."

Thus, when Alexander the Great claimed divine honours, it is well known that his mother Olympias, declared that he was not sprung from King Philip, her husband, but from Jupiter, in the form of a serpent. In like manner, says the authoress of Rome in the 19th Century, the Roman emperor, "Augustus, pretended that he was the son of Apollo, and that the god had assumed the form of a serpent for the purpose of giving him birth."

Hippolytus V - The Refutation of All Heresies - Satan Worship   No wonder that such blasphemous travesty of the Bible history, and such predilection for the serpent and his seed was connected with the most unbridled antinomianism, which changed vice into virtue. They thought it a necessary part of "perfect knowledge" to have a complete experience of all sins, including even unnamable vices.

Some have identified the Ophites with the false teachers denounced in the Epistle of Jude as filthy dreamers, who "defile the flesh, and set at naught dominion, and rail at dignities," who "went in the way of Cain, and ran riotously in the error of Balaam for hire, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah," as "wandering stars, for whom the blackness of darkness has been reserved forever." The resemblance is certainly very striking, and those heretics may have been the forerunners of the Ophites of the second century.

HOW THE SECOND ADAM WAS FORMED

1Cor. 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy:
        the second man is the Lord from heaven.

John 8:23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above:
        ye are OF this world; I am not of this world

James 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above,
        but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

Adam Good:  The apostle John opened his account of the Gospel: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. ... And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (John 1:1-2,14).

The Word or Logos is a "person" as Hermes-Mercury-Kairos: god of thieves and liars which qualified him to be the mediator between the gods and men--for a price.

As the often use of ANTITHESIS: The Word or Logos is what God SPEAKS proving that He does not need another "god" person to enable Him to BREATH or SPEAK.

The Logos is God's REGULATIVE PRINCIPLE and it OUTLAWS Sermons, Songs, Playing instruments, personal opinions or personal experiences. The WORD became flesh when the Father breathed (not a spirit person) and Jesus spoke ONLY what God inspired Him to say. His diisciples will speak only what He commanded them to speak.

The PATTERN from the Church in the Wilderness and never changed was to PREACH the WORD by READING the WORD in the once each week assembly which is a Reading Assembly or School of the Word.

The Regulative Principle outlaws ALL form of music but it also outlaws SELF-AUTHORED sermons which IGNORES Jesus' role as the ONLY Teacher.  Elders are comanded to teach that which has been taught.

X. the Word or Wisdom of God, personified as his agent in creation and world-government

Adam Good: The Hebrew writer further explained how
    God “Hath...spoken unto us
    by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power,
        when HE had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high”
(Heb. 1:2-3).

Jesus of Nazareth by the Power of God the Father did not create the universe with every atom in it. God creates by His WORD which is what one SPEAKS.

2Pet. 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now,
        by the same word are kept in store,
        reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

The Visible Kingdom of God existed in prophecy as well as DONE in the mind and plan of God. This was a CARNAL kingdom and not a Spiritual kingdom.  However, that Spiritual Creation which does not come with observation meaning religious observations, came with power on the day of Pentecost.

Rom. 3:6 God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?

Adam Good: This is why Jesus taught, “he that hath seen me hath seen the Father” (John 14:9).

1Cor. 8:4 As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world,
        and that there is none other God but one.
1Cor. 8:5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth,
        (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
1Cor. 8:6 But to us there is but one God [Theos], the Father,
        of whom are all things, and we in him;
        and one Lord [Kurios] Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

2Cor. 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty,
        not walking in craftiness, nor handling the WORD of God deceitfully;
        but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience
        in the sight of God.

Cunning craftiness is sophistry which includes "speaking on your own," singing, playing instruments or acting especially if they are FOR SALE. Ephesiahs 4 silences them because these are marks of those LYING IN WAIT TO DECEIVE.

The Word as written is laid down as a marker: those who do not speak what Jesus commanded to be spoken are proven not to be Christians.  God Breathed the Spirit OF Christ to the prophets who defined the future Assembly of Christ as a School of the Word only.

Isa 8:19And when they shall say unto you,
        Seek unto them that have familiar spirits,
        and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter:
                should not a people seek unto their God?
                for the living to the dead

To the law and to the testimony:
        if they speak not according to this word,
        it is because there is no light in them. Isa 8:20

Jesus defined the prophecies concerning Him as Holy Scripture. The testimonies of the Spirit OF Christ in the prophets are the MARKERS.

Rev. 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren
        that have the testimony of Jesus:
        worship God: for the testimony of Jesus
        is the spirit of prophecy.

2Cor. 4:3 But if our gospel [WORD] be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
2Cor. 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,
        lest the LIGHT of the glorious gospel of Christ,
        who is the IMAGE of God, should shine unto them.

Col. 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God,
        the firstborn of every creature:
Heb. 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory,
        and the express image of his person [confidence],
        and upholding all things by the word of his power,
        when he had by himself purged our sins,
        sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

All historic "trinities" define the Father as God who breathes (spirit) into the Son who then Articulates only what He hears from the Father of the thought. The Word becomes Flesh as God's Regulative Principle when Jesus or others SPEAK.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
        no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also:
        and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
John 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you,
        and yet hast thou not known me, Philip?
        he that hath seen me hath seen the Father;
        and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am IN the Father, and the Father
IN me?
        the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself:

but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

GOD AS THOUGHT AND SON AS ARTICULATED WORD ARE "GOD IN THE FLESH.'

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them,
        he it is that loveth me:
        and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father,
        and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him,
        If a man love me, he will keep my WORDS: and my Father will love him,
        and WE will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
John 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings:
        and the word which ye hear is not mine,
        but the Father’s which sent me.

The Godhead which dwelled IN the MAN Jesus Christ is God's DIVINE NATURE.  Those who are IN Christ are also filled with DIVINE NATURE:

2Pet. 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:
        that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,
        having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

GODHEAD IS DIVINE NATURE WHICH FILLED THE MAN JESUS CHRIST: JESUS WAS NOT THE DIVINUS

Doubting Thomas was not present when Jesus explained severial was that I AM which is an incomplete sentence.

John 20:26  And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

Jesus responded “...all [men] should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him” (John 5:23).

Jesus did not make that claim: His enemies claim that He claimed to be equal with the Father. Jesus did nothing that God the Father did not show Him or speak to Him as He BREATHED which is not another Spirit person:

John 5:17 But Jesus answered them,
        My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.

That proves that Jesus was not God nor one of the Gods before He was born of the SEED of Abraham and David:

John 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him,
        because he not only had broken the sabbath,
        but said also that God was his Father,
        making himself equal with God.

Adam Good STOP: The Jewish leadership understood Jesus’ claims

But, they blasphemed: Jesus never claims to be equal with God His Father: His power and authority was delegated for the duration of the Christian Dispensation.

John 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not;
        but
for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a MAN, makest thyself God.

Even mortals are called gods or Elohim.  Therefore, the despise Jesus more than Moses or others:

John 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

John 10:35 If he called them gods,
        unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

"Therefore, you BLASPHEME because I didn't say that I made myself God."

John 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world,
        Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
John 10:37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
John 10:38 But if I do, though ye believe not me,
        believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him

Jesus proved that being the SON of God means that he is NOT God and claimed no authority which belongs only to God:

John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you,
        The Son can do nothing of himself,
        but what he seeth the Father do:
        for what things soever he doeth,
        these also doeth the Son likewise.
John 5:20 For the Father loveth the Son,
        and sheweth him all things that himself doeth:
        and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.

WHEN YOU SEE AND HEAR JESUS THE SON YOU SEE AND HEAR THE FATHER MADE VISIBLE AND AUDIBLE.

John 5:21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them;
        even so the SON quickeneth whom he will.
John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man,
        but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
John 5:23 That all men should honour the Son,
        even as they honour the Father.
He that honoureth not the Son honoureth
        not the Father which hath sent him.
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you,
        He that heareth my WORD, and believeth on him that sent me,
        hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation;
        but is passed from death unto life.

IF YOU DO NOT SPEAK THE WORD WHICH JESUS SPOKE YOU ARE OF THE WORLD AND NOT A SON.

Adam Good S.T.O.P: On another occasion, the Jews prepared to stone Jesus for teaching “I and My Father are One.” They accused him of blasphemy...because...thou, being a man, makest thyself God” (John 10:29-33).

John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all;
        and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

If the Father is Greater than the Son so the Son is not God nor Equal with God. That does not prevent trinitarians from agreeing with Christ's enemies when they say that they are the SAME or that three gods are friendly.

John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

The context should prove that Jesus and God were UNITED and not a singular. UNUM

Adverbial expressions.  Ad unum, all together, unanimously, to a man, without exception

Lord God is One ALONE: Unum

John 10:31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
John 10:32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
John 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying,
        For a good work we stone thee not; but
for blasphemy;
        and because that thou, BEING A MAN, makest thyself God.

They were smart: A Spirit hath not FLESH and BONES.
John 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world,
        Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

Adam Good S.T.O.P During His trial before the Sanhedrin, the high priest demanded of Jesus “...I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.” Jesus affirmed “It is as you said” (Matt. 26:63-64)

The Jews and everyone clearly understood that the son of a god meant that a god had sex with a human mother and gave birth a son who was both god and man.

Matt. 26:63 But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him,
        I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou
        be the Christ, the Son of God.

He said what he said but Jesus said:

Matt. 26:64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you,
        Hereafter shall ye see the SON OF MAN sitting on the right hand of power,
        and coming in the clouds of heaven.
Matt. 26:65 Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying,
        He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses?
        behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.

God said of His ONE NATURE that:

Num. 23:19 God is NOT A MAN, that he should lie; NEITHER THE SON OF MAN  that he should repent:
        hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Jesus was not called the Son of a Father until after He was baptized.  Jesus is the Son of God as "begotten" to begin the New Creation "reserved unto fire."

1Pet. 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
Rev. 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Jesus the MAN and SON of Man was not SANCTIFIED or HOLY and therefore was NOT God.

John 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world,
        Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

That denies that He made himself God or claimed to be co-equal.

By being the Son of a Father and being sanctified or anointed at His baptism and sent INTO the world He could not be equal.  Alan and all trinitarians claim that Jesus was ETERNALLY BEGOTTEN and therefore always existhed.

Rom. 1:1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle,
        separated unto the gospel of God,
Rom. 1:2 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
Rom. 1:3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord,
        which was made of the seed of David according to the FLESH;
Rom. 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power,
        according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
Rom. 1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship,
        for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

1Pet. 1:3  Blessed be the God [Theos] and Father OF our Lord [Kurios] Jesus Christ,
        which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope
        by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
Rev. 1:5 And from Jesus Christ,
        who is the faithful witness,
        and the first begotten of the dead,
        and the prince of the kings of the earth.
Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

1John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not
        that Jesus Christ is come in the FLESH is not of God:
        and this is that spirit of antichrist,
        whereof ye have heard that it should come;
        and even now already is it in the world.
2John 7 For many deceivers are entered into the world,
        who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the
FLESH.
        This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Adam Good S.T.O.P When Jesus appeared before Pilate, the Roman governor found “no fault in Him.” Determined to see Him executed, the Jewish leaders argued, “...We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God” (John 19:7).

 John 19:7 The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die,
         because he made himself the Son of God.
John 19:8 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid;
John 19:9 And went again into the judgment hall, and saith unto Jesus,
        Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer.
John 19:10 Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me?
        knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?
John 19:11 Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me,
        except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin

They didn't say that Jesus WAS God but the Son of God.  Being the Son of God excludes the possibility that He WAS or claimed to BE God.

John 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world,
        Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

The Apostles also had a problem listening

John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them,

I AM the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger;

John 6:51
I AM the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

The Bread of Life is the Spirit or Word neither of which IS God as the Source.
John 6:63 It is the SPIRIT that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:
        the words that I speak unto you, they are
SPIRIT, and they are LIFE.
John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying,

I AM the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness,
        but shall have the light of life.
John 8:17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
John 8:18 I AM one that bear witness of myself,
.....and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.

John 8:23 And he said unto them,
     Ye are from beneath;
.....I AM from above ye are of this world;
.....I AM not of this world.

John 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy;
        and because that thou, being a MAN, makest thyself God.

That proves that Jesus was not God nor one of the Gods before He was born of the SEED of Abraham and David:

John 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world,
        Thou blasphemest; because I said,
I AM the Son of God?

Adam Good S.T.O.P  It is fitting that the apostle John, whose account of the Gospel proclaims the deity of Christ, wrote, “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [but] he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also” (1 John 2:22-23).

Jesus promised another Comforter or Paraklete and said I will come to you. In 1 John 2 we know the NAME of the HOLY SPIRIT (a state: not a person):

1John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you,
        that ye sin not. And if any man sin,
        we have an advocate [paraklete] with the Father,
       Jesus Christ the righteous:

1John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
1John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments,
        is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1John 2:5 But whoso keepeth his WORD, in him verily is the love of God perfected:
        hereby know we that we are in him.
1John 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

1John 2:21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth,
        but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
1John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ?
        He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
1John 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father:
        (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
1John 2:24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the BEGINNING.
        If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in yo

As the writers finish their Epistles, the salutation mentions only a Father and a Son.  In the above verses Jesus in His glorified state is the only Advocate or Comforter. Alan just named the only Mediator:

1Tim. 2:5 For there is one God,
        and one mediator between God and men,
        the MAN Christ Jesus;

Adam Good S.T.O.P Furthermore, John explained, “If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son” (1 John 5:9-10).

1John 5:9 If we receive the witness of men,
        the witness of God is greater:
        for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
1John 5:10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself:
        he that believeth not God hath made him a liar;
        because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
1John 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life,
        and this life is in his Son.
1John 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life;
        and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
1John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God;
        that ye may know that ye have eternal life,
        and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

The Word or Gospel is the only power unto salvation.  The Word is what Jesus SPOKE when the Father breathed (spirit is not a person).
John 6:63 It is the SPIRIT that quickeneth;
         the flesh profiteth nothing:
         The WORDS that I speak unto you, they are SPIRIT, and they are life.

The Trinity -- Alexander Campbell

To understand the relation betwixt the Saviour and his Father, which existed before time, and that relation which began in time, is impossible on either of these theories.

There was no Jesus, no Messiah, no Christ, no Son of God, no Only Begotten, before the reign of Augustus Cesar.

The relation that was before the christian era,
        was not that of a son and a father,
         terms which always imply disparity;
         but it was that expressed by John in the sentence under consideration.
                The relation was that of God,
                and the "word of God." [Word is what God SPEAKS]

This phraseology unfolds a relation quite different from that of a father and a son--a relation perfectly intimate, equal, and glorious.

1st. A word is a sign or representative of a thought or an idea, and is the idea in an audible or visible form.
         It is the exact image of that invisible thought which is a perfect secret to all the world until it is expressed.

2d. All men think or form ideas by means of words or images;
         so that no man can think without words or symbols of some sort.

3d. Hence it follows that the word and the idea which it represents, are co-etaneous, or of the same age or antiquity.

It is true the word may not be uttered or born for years or ages after the idea exists, but still the word is just as old as the idea.

4th. The idea and the word are nevertheless distinct from each other, though the relation between them is the nearest known on earth.
        An idea cannot exist without a word, nor a word without an idea.

5th. He that is acquainted with the word, is acquainted with the idea, for the idea is wholly in the word.

Now let it be most attentively observed and remembered, that these remarks are solely intended to exhibit
         the relation which exists between a word and an idea, and that
         this relation is of a mental nature,
         and more akin to the spiritual system than any relation created, of which we know any thing.
